Make cookies in less than 60 seconds?

Cookies?

The word cookie came from the Dutch word koejke, which means ‘small cake.' Hence, that was what the first cookies were - ‘small cakes.' No more and no less. It turned out that cookies were only made because cakes were made. Bakers used to take a little bit of their cake batter and drop it into the oven to test if the heat is good enough for baking their cake. Cookies were then made just by chance. But how about now?

Kinds of Cookies:

Cookies are now made intentionally. Different ways of making cookies have developed on its own. Right now there 5 known ways to make cookies. The first one is already mentioned:

  1. Cookie Drops. The cookie batter (rather than cake batter) is dropped by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, and then baked. This is the classic way of baking cookies; however, it doesn't make other shaped cookies rather than round ones.
  2. Molded Cookies. Cookie dough is shaped by hand after resting or chilling the dough. It creates whatever shape you like-even very difficult shapes like Fortune Cookies. It also works for those types of cookie batters that can't possibly be dropped-like oatmeal. And note: this molding method works best for no-bake cookies.
  3. Rolled or Cut Cookies. Cookie dough is rested or chilled for easy handling. Then, it is rolled out with a rolling pin, and then cut into various shapes using a cookie cutter. The most famous type of rolled or cutter cookie is the Gingerbread Man.
  4. Refrigerator or Sliced Cookies. The cookie batter is formed into a huge log and then rested or chilled. Then, the log is sliced into thin cookie pieces and then baked.
  5. Cookie Bars. The cookie batter is spread evenly in a baking pan, and then baked immediately. After baking, it is cooled and then divided into small cookie bars.

Very interesting ways to make cookies right?
