how to make money online writing
55First of all i would like to welcome everyone to this hubpage. In this page i am going to discuss the various ways and places to write articles online and possible make some extra money doing so.
EHOW
First lets talk about ehow. Im not sure what kinda of percentage basis ehow pays out but if you are a how to do something kind of person, this is the site for you. If you dont know ehow allows you to write article on how to do things, anything for how to fix a fence , to how to walk your dog in the park. But ehow has a stringent set of rules and you do not want to even look like your trying to promote personal businessess or affiliate programs in excess or they will shut down your account without warning. But if you are a how to person, you probably could make a little extra cash writing how to guides for ehow. You will get some sort of cut i believe from what they make with adwords but im not sure how it all works, Because i dont think they tell you. Sneaky sneaky ehow!
Hubpages
So far hubpages has been pretty good. I have only been on a little while. But as long as you play by their rules you should be ok (you will see there rules when you publish a page). Kind of stringent but not as much as ehow. So write away and maybe you can make some money via adwords, or amazon or ebay here (you need to sign up or have an account with each i believe). I think as far as the adsense is concerned you get 100% of click thrus paid directly to you & a 60% 40% split in your favor over ad impression but dont quote me on it. No a bad deal if you ask me, but like i said im new to hubpages.
Squidoo
Squidoo seems pretty decent all around as they let you write about reasonable anything and dont seem to really care what your jibba-jabbin about. you make a percentage of items sold off of cafepress (shirt company) zazzle (another shirt company) ebay & amazon or you can donate to charity. Squidoo is kinda vague about their adsense program tho they are upfront in a manner of speaking. They split the revenue into tiers which i personally dont care for. I think if you get the traffic you should reap your fair share of the reward. but squidoo isnt to bad i havent had much luck driving any traffic to my squidoo sites but its early.
Knol
google knol, i am kinda of impressed with but its also to early they dont seem to mind shameless plugs about your business on their pages. they like the others have rules, but not quite as stern. Im going to be moving some of my pages from squidoo over to knol & hubpages and see which site treats me the best and thats where i will end up putting all my pages. Also you make money via adsense on your page. I think their is a split but maybe not. Maybe you keep the whole $$pot on this one. Check back with me later and i will update this accordingly
