1.)    Being the owner or manager of the company, I let my workers know why they should perform.  Explain to them why they need to do their best in the responsibility given to them.  Let them understand that the success of the company depends on their performance.

2.)    If the workers do not know how to perform or if they do not know what they should do, then I teach them on how to do it.  I teach them again all the procedures of their work. 

3.)    I always remind the workers to follow their supervisors.  Tell them that I give the instructions to the supervisor and the supervisor is the one that gives it to them.  Sometimes there is a tendency that workers think that their supervisor’s way will not work; workers think that their way is better than the supervisor is. 

4.)    I reward my workers in some way if they are performing.  I should let them know if they are performing or not because sometimes they think they are performing but are not. 

5.)    If there are obstacles that the workers are facing which causes them not to perform well in their work, I should know those obstacles especially if those obstacles are beyond their ability to control.

6.)    I keep in mind that my workers have personal limits in their ability.  If the required performance exceeds what they are able to do, obviously they cannot do their best.  Therefore, I train them more in order to obtain the required performance.

7.)    I also understand that my workers sometimes face personal problems such as psychological problems, legal problems and financial problems.  If they are experiencing these problems, I listen and talk to them regarding these matter.  If possible, help them whatever help I can give so that they can perform again in their work.
