how to overcome laziness

LIFE goes on and the world won't wait for you...
Imagine living your whole life like one of those fat seals (which look like a huge sofa ) you see on the National Geographic channel :Sitting on your butt, watching TV for hours not knowing what is really happening around you .What do you think will happen. Just like those tiger seals, you would expand ie gain weight, pile fats all over your body, and might end up with serious heart problems.
Well, we all have a time when we wish we could just stay and remain in our seats for ever having food and drinks brought up to us on demand. Yet we can't live our lives sitting on our butts. Yet, how can we really overcome laziness?
Laziness, is a serious problem that our society grapples with. It is not a disease yet an attitude problem that restricts people from moving on with their life , and experiencing the world around them .Some resources say this issue haa to be dealt with.
So how can we overcome lazinees?
First of all, you have to remember that laziness is an attitude problem .Thus, the first step to overcome it is to accept the fact that you have a problem which has to be dealt with as soon as possible (rule#1) .In this stage, your are expected to grapple with your fears i.e. face your demons and try to overcome them. It would be much easier if you had someone by your side such as a close family member, a friend or even a person who has passed the same stage. It is never wrong to admit your mistakes and try to fix them. The shame is when you know your life course is wrong and you do nothing to change it.
(Rule#2) Once you have faced your demons, and accepted the fact that you and I face a problem that prevents us from enjoying life at its extremes, you can start working on it. Start by dividing a piece of paper into half and writing on a piece of paper what good or bad reasons drive you into being lazy and not going out and enjoying society.
(Rule#3) On the other side, start writing all the things you are missing in life, such as lacking a social life, going out with friends, eating healthy food, and meeting lots of people. Think deeply on how does this really affect your life, emotional state and hope do you wish to change.
Now count the ideas you wrote down on both columns and think thoughtfully about what would life mean to you if you could go out and enjoy or how life would turn out five years from now when you have a heart attack or if you die alone in you share in front of the TV without anyone knowing that you died cause you barely know any people.
(Rule#4) You should work on adapting a new life style such as waking up early at five or six at most cases and having a healthy breakfast like going on jogging or to the market to shop for healthy food. You can meet lots of cool and helpful people whom you can relate to. At the first night of your new life, you are going to sit in bed thinking of what you have achieved for now. In your head, draw pictures of how you are going to change your life and others. Fix your alarm to six or five and decide what new activities you are planning to do on the next day. Try as much as possible to walk to work or take the stairs instead of the elevator . I can assure you that the first week or month won't be easy. You might feel exhausted tired, and sweaty. Don't let that stop you from enjoying, and every time you sweat know that this is another sign that you are doing great and you are one step closer to achieve your goal.
(Rule#5) Don't let anyone's ridicule or stop you. Turn all that negative force people give you into positive ones by telling yourself:" Those idiots don't know what i am working on! I won't let anyone stop me! No one can.!"If it makes you feel better you can play a game with yourself. You can imagine those people who annoy you in your head. Use your imagination to make funny faces out of them, u can imagine them with an over sized nose a huge zit on the top of their nose (like Mt. Helen).Or even imagine a huge truck would fall on them from the sky. I've learn this method from a book "Awaken the Giant Within" by Anthony Robbins.
You can read books in the park which might help you overcome your problems and inspire you not to get rid of bad habits such as laziness but also lose weight or change your life into a better one by enhancing your self-confidence.
I've passed through the same stage and i was almost ready to give up and say: “Ok ! I’ve had enough failure in my life! I am officially a LOSER!"
Yet, God hasn't created anyone of us to be losers, and that is what my friend and close sociology teacher once told me. That day she gave me a wonderful book that changed by life and I’d like to give it to you too. The book will be your guide through the whole procedure of changing accepting and never going back to the same habits. Believe me when i say it Anthony Robbins's book changed my life and will change your.
You have to believe in yourself, and make every silly or degrading comment you get because of your size or habit an inspiration to work hard and grasp the best of this life. Life is short and you have to enjoy it at its extremes. Don't let anything stand in your way. Yet, the most important thing is to never let you fall into the same mistake twice
