If you want to learn how to speak in Spanish then you have various options. A while back, the only two options available were to attend a Spanish language course at you local college or school or to hire a private teacher or tutor to teach you the language. These days if you want to learn a language there are far more options available catering to the different learning styles. You can choose one that fits in with your lifestyle, budget or style of learning. If you're generally very busy, you may find that a home based CD or DVD course may help you learn the language without disrupting your daily schedule. If you prefer, there are hundreds of courses that are delivered online complete with instructional videos. You can just work through them at you own pace whenever you like. Here is a list of some of the options that you may consider.

1. Hire a private teacher.

This is probably the most expensive option but it's quite effective for some people. If you like having someone to help you along and set goals for you to achieve this may be suitable for you as long as you have the budget to pay the private tutor.

2. Learning from a book

This used to be very popular but it's quite limited in that there is no way of effectively learning how the words are pronounced without hearing Spanish speakers using the language. Some authors have tried to go around this problem by incorporating support DVD videos in the books on with Spanish language lessons.

3. Travel

Another excellent way to learn Spanish is to travel to a Spanish speaking country and simply 'immerse' yourself in the language. This can be effective for some people. You can take some language courses while there too and you'll learn faster because you'll be hearing people speaking the language all the time.

4. Learn Spanish using DVDs and CDs

This is a very popular method and many companies selling these products are mail order companies. When you sign up, they'll send you some DVDs or CD that you have to work through. After you've completed one set, they send you another until you've done their course. This system works for some people. You may have to investigate it to find out if it would work for you.

5. Spanish lessons online

There are hundreds of websites offering Spanish lessons online. Some are free while others require a fee. Usually the free ones are just introductory and they don't usually include the entire course to teach you enough so that you can speak it fluently. Many sites are using streaming videos and mp3 to deliver Spanish language lessons online. The great thing about online language courses is that you can do the course in your on time and at you own pace.

If you want to learn how to speak Spanish, you'll be happy to know that it's quite easy to learn. The only thing is that you'll have to be quite committed because you'll need to memorise a lot of things and master word and sentence combinations that you may be unfamiliar with. Spend time choosing a Spanish language course that is guaranteed to deliver results in the timeframe that you want. There are so many courses out there.
