Transferring music to PSP step by step

Transferring music to your PSP device is very easy to do. The only things you need are:

- the music you want to transfer

- a memory stick with lots of space

- a USB cable

- a computer.

Now here are the simple steps to achieve this quickly:

1. Insert memory stick into your PSP and format it using the psp itself. Not sure about how to do this, see the documentation that came with your psp or try to figure it out. Go to settings on your psp and look in there. If your memory stick is already formatted, don't bother with formatting

2. Connect your psp to your pc or laptop using the USB cable. Your computer should recognise the connection and install the required drivers automatically. It should also assign a new drive to your USB connection. If you open the new drive, you'll be able to navigate and browse the psp file system.

3. Now all you have to do is copy the music from your pc or laptop to your PSP. To do this first look for the music folder on your PSP. Open the new psp drive on your pc and open the music folder. Now move all the music that you want to transfer to your psp from your pc to the MUSIC folder. That's it. You can now disconnect the psp.

4. To listen to your music on the psp just go to the music folder and select the piece of music that you want to listen to and play it.

Here's a quick summary of what happens.

a) Download the psp music from a music download site to your pc

b) Copy the music from your pc to your PSP

c) Listen to the music
