Let's face it - most people would love to make money from home. Be your own boss, work in your pj's, set your own schedule. Sounds great, doesn't it? Yet most of us believe there is absolutely no way we would ever really succeed. Why is this? Millions of people make money online, so why shouldn't anyone be able to do the same? You can. There is no magic formula, or proven plan that will make you rich overnight. Making money from home takes work, motivation, focus and ACTION. Sit around thinking about it, but never actually taking action is why most people are still working the old 9 to 5 rut.  No one is going to do it for you, so get off your duff and get busy!

There are more excuses as to why people can't make money from home than you could imagine. The biggest cause of failure is lack of focus and not taking action. Sometimes we get it stuck in our mind that writing our own ticket to success is going to be too much work, and we would rather stay in the little rut we have become accustomed to.
• Not enough money. This is a GREAT one! It doesn't take a fortune to make money online. In fact, it doesn't even take much (or any) money at all! Start with an affiliate program, a free blog, and write some articles. Doesn't cost you a dime.

These are just a few of the HUNDREDS of excuses people use to convince themselves it is just not possible. They don't know how to make money online, they don't have time, no money, blah blah blah . . . STOP with the excuses and get busy!

There are literally hundreds of different ways to make money from home. If you desire to make money on the internet, the options are endless. Do you have to have technical abilities or a college degree? Absolutely not! I have neither, and I make a very lucrative income each and every month with affiliate marketing and ghostwriting.

Of course, not everyone want to make money online. If you want to start an offline business, that's great! Just choose something that is a special hobby or passion of yours. Catering, home daycare, jewelry party business, commercial cleaning service - put your brain in gear and come up with some ideas! Then, detail a business plan and set goals. Focus on your business, stay motivated and WORK. You will find that you attract success if you put your energy in to it.

• Affiliate marketing - This is by far the most popular method used to make money from home. Choose a profitable niche that isn't too competitive, search for the right keywords, build a blog or website and start marketing a product/service related to your niche. There are thousands of affiliate programs on the internet, some of the most well-known being Clickbank and Commission Junction.
• Blogging - This is another very profitable business model. Create a blog (many people build a network of related blogs), monetize it with Google Adsense ads and related affiliate products, and start driving traffic by creating backlinks and writing articles. Super easy - and VERY profitable!
• Writing - Whether you want to become a freelance or ghostwriter, or even a virtual assistant, there is TONS of work you can do for other people. I am a ghostwriter myself, and this is how I make the most money from home. Do I have a writing degree? No. In fact, before I became a ghostwriter I had absolutely zero experience writing for others. I decided "Why not give it a try?". Am I glad I did! I write articles and web page content for other people who either can't do the writing themselves or just don't have the time. This business model allows you to make as much money as you want to make.
