About Google Adsense

Google has a huge marketing affiliate program which is called Google Adsense. You can see "Ads by Google" text everywhere in many websites and blogs; even in this page. Google started this online advertising program in 2003. Anyone can join this affiliate program by register to Google Adsense. Google also offers this ads program for registered Blogger, a blog platform hosted by Google.

How people earn money from Google Adsense

This is a big picture of how people earn money from Google Adsense.

  1. Write articles (blog, hub, or anything you call it) - It is the easiest way, but it takes time and makes you write and read everyday. If you don't like to write, you will be easily quit writing soon. Writing in HubPages, Squidoo, Associated Content and other sites are the examples from this category.
  2. Upload files such as photos or videos - It is a good alternative especially for people who don't like to read and even write. Flixya and TheVideoSense are two examples of the websites where you can upload files and earn money from Google Adsense.
  3. Design a niche website - You design and manage a website or blog of your own that is for a certain niche market. It can be a blog- if you like to write; a kind of yellow pages site where people can find things easily; song lyrics resource; web or blog templates free download and so on. Bibme is an example of this niche website.
  4. Design a community web platform - This is the hard one but will give you a very much earning. You hire a web engineering to build a website where the idea is coming from you. The founder of Ning, Squidoo, TheVideoSense, and this HubPages get more money than the people who build the website.

How Google Adsense works

Revenue from Google Adsense is coming from either per-click or per-thousand-impressions. Per-click is when a visitor clicked on an advertisement on your website or blog to be redirected to the advertiser's website, then you will earn a couple of cents or dollars. Per-thousand-impressions is when your webpage or blog that displays Google Ads has been viewed for 1000 times, you will earn a couple of cents or dollars - depends on how much is the advertisers bid on the ads.

To display Google Adsense on a webpage, a webmaster needs to insert JavaScript code from Google into their HTML page. If you don't know how JavaScript or HTML code works, you still can join Google Adsense program.

Now there are many share revenue websites which gives services for their registered users to publish articles and also to earn money from Google Adsense. These websites will display Google Ads around the articles published by their members. The revenue from Google Adsense is then shared by the website and the writer.

Google Adsense Share Revenue Websites

Joining a share revenue website is a good option if you don't really know about SEO, hosting and webmaster jobs. Though you share your revenue with these sites, the earning may be bigger rather than if you manage your own pages which need time and skill.

The following websites offer Google Adsense share revenue. Actually, there are many other websites, but here I only list the websites which are famous or different from others.

Which one works better?

There is no guarantee that one way will be better than the other way. You need to know your own strength and interest. Some people only write articles and gain lots of money from Google Adsense, some others gain enormous amount of money from the websites they create.

"There's no guarantee people will be able to make enough (money) to quit their day jobs, since earnings will depend on how popular their lenses (hubs, blogs, articles, websites) are and how many directories they maintain."

Seth Godin - founder of Squidoo

Google Adsense will pay you if your earned balance is $100 or more within approximately thirty (30) days after the end of each calendar month. How long will it take to get 100$ above? It all depends on how many hubs you make and how many traffic goes into your hubs and one more important thing is how many clicks on Google ads made by your readers.

I have generated over $250 month one. It has required writing new content hours daily, driving traffic and creating multiple streams. My next step is to start writing a blog.

I think traffic is the key to making money from Adsense. If you are getting relevant traffic from search engines Google automatically places the best paying ads in that page which in turn increase your pay out.
