How To Become The Best At Your Job

Right. Job security is gone. However, you can't react when being aware of that true. You should take over the situation by being proactive. That's why I present you three advices to become a real “best employee” in your company. This information comes from my personal experience and from many books I read about success; besides, the "principles" explained can be applied to students who want to improve their grades and get the top. :
1. Get around the right people. Soon or later, you’ll behave in the right way to maintain your relationships. Everybody wants to harmonize with their relationships. So, if you choose ever the right people in a natural way, obviate this rule. But if you don’t, you must be sure of making a decision that matches with your long term goals.
Working totally alone gives some of the best opportunities to achieve your personal and ambitious goals. However, you must know first that your work can be done without that we call “team work”. If some tasks require “team work” be sure that you’re around the right people. I recommend working alone for very ambitious or “unreal” goals, because there’s no other way to avoid pessimist words and ideas from partners. Anyway, since you want to be the first, almost every activity you carry on should be task-oriented, not relationship-oriented. It won’t take too long for you to get your goals when you become a task-oriented or goal-oriented person.
2. Make use of initiative. Any boss will be delighted with initiative. (If he’s afraid of it or rejects it, you should leave the company). Therefore, if somebody has to be promoted it’s likely that one will be you. There’s something you must have present ever before doing this: “The company wants you create value”. Many people believe that when creating value for the company they lose something. That’s the loser’s thinking. The truth is that the value you give to the company gives value to yourself. This world works so.
It will be helpful if you can get some of the plans of the company you work in. If you work in marketing, get the marketing plan; if you work in the planning department, get the programs, budgets, etc. if possible. Try to know more about your company, without failing to attend your work.
Remember this “Once we’ve created value, we can extract a portion in lots of ways”.
3. Make use of Creativity. Do you know exactly where are you going in your career? Do you have present your goals most of the time? If the answer is YES, you can make use of creativity then. The problem of attempting to be creative if the answer is NO, is that it will be likely for you to desist when people around question your creations. The creative man, has to be ever courageous. Search for new methods to do your work, imagine new ways to upgrade your services, try to give more to your company.
Give more, so you can receive more.
