How to Burn Belly Fat
66If you have noticed your bulging stomach and want to know how to burn belly fat read on and you will find out how. You know, you buckle your pants and the belly hangs over the waistband. You need to burn some belly fat but it isn't as easy as waving a magic wand across your stomach or doing a few ab crunches. Most spot exercises don't work. They do tighten the muscles to the point that you have a six-pack, but no one ever gets to see it because it's hidden behind layers of fat.
In order to get rid of the belly fat, you have to do more than just exercise. If you diet, you lose weight all over your body, but the stomach may still be flabby. You need to do both exercise and diet in order to eliminate the fat hanging over your belt. Some great exercises help you burn the fat while strengthening your muscles. If you follow a good, nutritious diet, the combination of the two will reduce the fat and strengthen the muscles at the same time, and you'll see a huge difference in the way your clothes fit, your stomach tone and your energy.
Strength training is more than just for strength
Strength training is more than just for strength, it also burns the fat that hides those tight taught abdominal muscles, as does interval training. Interval training creates short bursts of intense activity followed by intervals of lower intensity. While the high bursts of activity burns the calories, you also need to slow the pace and allow your muscles to take a break. When you feel ready, continue with a high intensity exercise.
Interval training is similar to fartlek, which is Swedish and means speed play. You can make up your own exercises in speed play and it's a lot less rigid in design. Try a few exercises of different intensities. First warm up with stretches, a must no matter how you exercise. Walk a bit and then do a set of jumping jacks. Follow the jumping jacks with something a little less rigorous like walk up a hill. After a few minutes of that, jump rope and first jump ten times on one foot then use the other and then both. Follow this with a slower paced walk with weights. Don't forget to do cool down exercises at the end. You can see the exercises are varied. This really burns fat, and by doing so, helps reduce the belly fat.
Fat burning exercises
You need to do these and other fat burning exercises to get rid of that belly fat. You also need to follow a lower calorie diet. Don't make it a starvation diet; your body needs to have good nutrition to build the muscles. Be sensible and keep it well balanced. Eat several small meals throughout the day instead of one large meal at the end of the day.
Once you start to build your intervals, increase the weights that you carry and build muscles, you'll find that the fat comes off a lot easier. It won't take long from there before you can button up your pants without having to lift your stomach off your waistband.
Use workouts that maximize your fat burning and eat foods that boost your fat loss!

Hi,
This is a very complete article. I love it that you say the truth about exercise and nutrition. I like the way yo explain so easily the fact that there can be tight muscle behind the walls of abdomen fat. That was hard to understand for me at the begining. I talk about that at my blog. Hope you might have a chance to visit and share more info like this. My blog is http://www.lose-it-now.net/burn-stomach-fat/
