How to chose a dance style
50Dance has so many different styles and if you are new to dancing then it can be pretty confusing to know which one to try so here are some basics of different dance styles to try.
Ballroom dancing
This is the perfect dance style to chose if you like dancing with a partner. Graceful and elegant to watch and to try. You don’t need to be experienced to try ballroom dancing, it’s fun for all ages and abilities. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a partner to go with as there are plenty of chances for you to mix and find a partner at one of your local classes.
Flamenco dance
Flamenco dance originates from the Andalusia region of Spain. The beautiful movements teamed with the rhythmic music are some of the many reasons why this is a great style. A good workout and a chance to learn about another culture, definitely one for the more cultural savvy types.
Folk dances
There are so many different folk dance styles. You can learn more about your own culture through traditional folk dances in your region or country or you could try another cultures folk dance.
Zumba
