There are several ways to find a person. You can find a person if you know his: phone number, address, email, social security number or just his name.

The first way is the free way (like Reunion and Classmates).

So if there was one thing I want you to do it is to go and register on these websites because you can search for over 100 million members there. Those are people that left their personal details and are not available on any other place.

Classmates is intended to locate lost classmates but we are going to use it for locating people in general. On both Reunion and Classmates you can search by name (and I guess you know the name of the person you're looking for).

There will be some other free websites (that won't require registration) below but for now let's go and use these.

Here are some other advantages of the other free websites below:

They give you the name, address and phone number. However, the disadvantage is that you won't get his social security number, crime records (if he has any) or any other confidential information.

Fortunately, the second way I mentioned provides you with such information. It is what I call the paid way. You can invest a small amount of cash and get access to billions and billions of information about any person you want (for my paid recommendation see the link below).

The third and the most effective one is getting a private investigator. Now, I know, I know, this is very expensive and you are probably not very interested in this so we're going to stick with the first 2 ways.

Forget Intelius (try to write "Intelius Scam" into google and see what comes up). Forget ANY OTHER PAID SERVICE that offers you UNLIMITED access to all types of database. They lie. Before you plan purcashing some "people search report" check the company on ripoffreport.com. This website helped me a lot.
