How to get rid of blackheads

Are you a teenager upset about the affects of blackheads on your face? Or are you adult suffering from the issues that come with adult acne? Either way, blackheads are hardly a welcome addition to your life, and undoubtedly you are trying to figure out how to best get rid of them. So what can you do to get rid of them? What are the things you can do to get rid of blackheads once and for all?

There are different ways to try and get ahold of the problem, and skincare specialists are divided on what are the best ways to do this. Let's explore some of the ways that you can get rid of blackheads?

Here are some of the ways:

Natural: The natural way to try and eliminate blackheads can most clearly be linked with natural fruits and vegetables that have high acidic content. For example, after cleaning your face, you can try putting the skin and juice of a tomatoe on your skin (don't worry about the short-time reddish glow!) for at least ten minutes. After that time, you can either wash your face without direct protraction, or find protraction easier with the acidic treatment of the tomatoe.

Medicinal: The most common over the counter treatment is with either Benzoyl Peroxide or Salycilic Acid based face treatments or face washes should the need be. There are a couple main issues at hand when determining whether you want to use Salycilic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide. Most importantly, remember that with Benzoyl Peroxide you don't need to use the highest percentage available. People often think - the more the better - but this is not true with Benzoyl Peroxide. With Benzoyl Peroxide you want to make sure to not be using more then 2.5%! So please remember this when looking into medicinal ways of how to get rid of blackheads.

Are there any other main ways to get rid of blackheads? Certainly, and each and every one's individual attempts to get rid of blackheads can work extremely well. However, these are the two main ways, and with with any luck they should prove a useful way to get rid of the blackheads that keep popping up again and again.

Always remember that whenever trying a new strategy, you don't want to do so before an important event, as sometimes the protraction of a blackhead - either forcefully or through passive treatment (such as the methods of natural and medicinal listed above) can result in an unwanted red bump should a minor pimple come as a result and without warning. So, whenever using a new method, remember to do so when you have time to await a potentially negative reaction.
