Lady Luck experiments with ways to make money online!

For those of you who don't know, I am in a large amount of debt from college, plus I'm in a large amount of debt from not having health insurance, and on top of that, I am in debt from having a terrible ex boyfriend who didn't help me pay the bills for a year.

With that said, I do have a full-time job, but I am always looking for new ways to make money online. I currently have other accounts set up with websites that pay people to write, although I haven't invested much time in writing for them, or promoting my articles.

So my goal for this month is to spend more time on the following sites to see which ones are worth spending time on, and which ones aren't.

Please note: I will not include hubpages in this list. Hubpages deserves a separate article

So here's the plan... I will invest a lot of time this month, writing, and promoting my articles on all of these sites and report back on which sites I recommend that YOU use to help YOU make more money.

Sharedreviews.com

Sharedreviews.com is a site where you can make money by writing product reviews and voting on revenue earning reviews. It's a pretty easy way to bring in money. The site operates on the premise that any revenue that is brought in by reviews people write, gets split up amongst voters. It is also very much a social networking site, you add people, you must been engaged in the community in order to make money.

The cool thing about this site is that you can see how much everyone else has made to date. I have only been a member of this site for a few months, and I haven't spent more than a few hours a month voting and writing. I have currently made $29.50 to date.

Here is an example of a review that has done well

Zen Stone 2 MP3 player is a disappointment

Remember, as with any writing you do online, make it good, and make it relevant! A lot of people on here review their 4 year old sneakers, and I find that to be annoying.

www.helium.com

I haven't heard good things about helium, so I'm pretty skeptical about investing ANY time on this site. I just signed up for helium this past week and I've written two articles. From what I understand is that you are paid based on how others rate you, how much traffic your article gets, and so on. The site does have a few interesting features like writing contests, and the "market place" where actual publishers will pick articles out of those submitted by helium writers and pay them a pretty decent chunk of change. If your article ISN'T selected, your article goes back into the helium market place.

So far, I have made $ .01 with helium.com.

Here is an example of a helium article:

5 easy ways to reduce stress

And last, but not least:

www.ehow.com

I'm not sure how ehow calculates how much they pay you, but at the very least, this site is a lot of fun to write on. You can write how-tos on just about anything! I am going to try spending more time on the site trying to draw more traffic my articles and I will report back and let you know. Ehow is again, a lot of social networking, you will do better on this site if you add friends, comment on their articles, rate their articles, etc. I would probably have made more money already IF I had been more active in the community!

Ehow also assigns you points to build your authority, so again, becoming an expert on a topic, will do you well here.

I have made $3.27 in a month with 9 small articles. Not too bad.

As an example: here are a few of my ehow articles that have done well:

How to look better with 7 great (and cheap) beauty products

How to get your ex to stop calling you
