We could discuss all the reasons why people are unable to create an income stream online or even offline but I would like to take this time to tell you what you need to able to do it successfully. In my opinion 99 percent of the stuff online is garbage, and I am not very proud, because some of it is mine.

The first step to understanding the things that work is to get focused. I know it is kind of general to say that because you might be a newbie online or you might have been beating your head against the wall like I have over the last 18 months and do not know what to get focused on. You might have even had some success but regardless of all that there are some things that you might agree with me on.

Falling for those big red words on sales pages will contribute to your demise more than you know. It was really one of my main weakness initially and I have worked hard on controlling those subconscious triggers that make me want to buy stuff that I don't really need but I think I do. Everything you will need to know is available for free so you will not have to buy much.

I think of everything logically, but then, I still believe that I can extract some more information and get even more knowledge then what I have now. You will have to realize that all this time reading and learning ends up taking away from the time that you could be focusing on your goals that you are going to set when you finish reading this.

The internet is awesome the potential to earn an income is incredible. It is about specific information and the searchers finding the specific information they are looking for. Look at blogs, and websites, each one containing information about different subjects and topics or even having multiple topics. I obviously have chosen here to talk about how to make money.

Making Money seems to be a very popular subject or even niche to target and attempt to profit from but lets just use it anyway as an example in this hub. I am writing this hub in an attempt to receive visitors to this hub article. I may write this and no one may ever read it but I hope that is not the case. The purpose of writing a hub or article may vary from person to person.

My goals are targeted on making money regardless what the topic will be about. Others may write about things they like to do or places they like to visit. Some may potentially make money, some may try and fail. That is why if your target goal is to make money you can accomplish this and deliver valuable content to your readers at the same time. This scenario is the perfect ending.

That is why it is so important to learn how the internet works. If you understand this than it will be much easier for you to accomplish your goal of learning how to make money online.

I know this is very basic stuff but the first step is to have an understanding of what a URL is. (from wiki): specifies where an identified resource is available and the mechanism for retrieving it. Basicly it is your website address just like the address for your home.

The second thing to understand is how people will find your content on your website on the internet. If people can't find you then you won't make any money. When I want to find something and I don't know where to go I go to (Big G), Google. I type in what I am looking for and get this great list of results that are suppose to give me what I was looking for.

When people search for an item that you are selling it is best to be on the front page of search results organically, preferably at the top. This is a lot of work but it can be done. You have to remember that there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people that may be competing to sell, refer for sale, the same product that you are selling or refering.

The learning seems endless but after you get a few pieces of the puzzle put together you will be able to start to make money.

Formula: targeted traffic = visitors = conversions (sales) = income

The first work is finding that keyword or group of keywords that will make you an income. If you do not understand this it will be explained in another post. There are also many posts already online that explain this same topic. Just don't get carried away by the big red words at the top of the page.

Remember that photoshop works really well for touching up income reports and not every advertiser is telling you the truth, of course this is just my opinion.
