religion?

We all go through life wondering what we are here for. In my opinion, this is a perplexing question that most of us will never be able to answer, at least while were alive. Which religion do you suppose is "the true hand of god religion"? Does anyone Know for sure? I sincerely doubt it. Everything in this small world we live in is cyclical, the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years. Our cycle of life! The human beings that rule this earth have probably ruled it, or another one similar to it 200 million years ago. We will perish from this earth much sooner than our predecessors did. The dinosaurs, for example ruled over our planet just fine for over 160+million years before mother nature decided to retire them for a while. Civilized humans have only been stomping around for a little over 15000 years, that were aware of anyway. Look at the damage our so called intelligent brains have caused just in the last 2000 years. We have let our emotions lead us for too long, too many violent reactions, just as an animal would do. we are just animals, and it upsets me that people try toact so much differently than they really are. Whole lives, and generations of people who spend their time lying, and hurting just to try and fulfill their animal instincts rather than trying to control and hone them. Having all these many strict sects of beliefs, values and religion have only led to years of narrow minded thinking, and bloodshed in the name of God! I don't believe that god wanted us to run around and assimilate everyones beliefs. He gave us our minds to grow and nuture. We need to open up our minds and start to question everything if we want to grow as a species. I think that language, math, science etc. can and should be questioned. We can improve anything if we just start to believe in ourselves, and the future. We need to quit looking back to the past for answers. Don't question what was, look at what is, and try and change and manipulate it to what you want it to be. As Children we have wonderous imaginations, and the world is full of possibilities. As we mature, our minds become closed off to all the magic around us because our parents, friends and teachers tell us the world and life "is what it is". I have one really profound observation in life, and it is that we as individuals are the only ones that can create change. We are the only ones who can change the world and our lives. There are many ways to go about this, but many of us just need to slow down long enough to take a look around and realize that our domination of this planet is going to be very short if we don't take care of it and each other! Love God, Love People, Love animals, Love yourself!

"He gave us our minds to grow ..."

You were speaking of "God" in the above sentence. Are you sure "he" is not a "she"? And if so, why or how?

God is What God is. I am not sure if God is a "he", or "she"
