Childbirth with the use of Hypnosis
49I recently began doing some research on something called “hypnobirthing” and decided that it sounds like a fantastic choice for pregnant women who want to have a natural childbirth experience without using medication or an epidural.
Some of you may have heard about hypnobirthing before, but I have to admit that I had not ever heard about it until I started learning more about hypnosis. I have had four children, all of which I had an epidural with, and I wish that I had known about this option. It would have been a cool experience to have given birth to one of my children without the help of medication. For those of you like me, that may not have heard about hypnobirthing, I will explain what I have learned. Hypnobirthing is a method that includes the use of hypnosis to accomplish a rewarding, relaxing and stress free birth. Hypnobirthing classes teach mothers how joyful it can be to experience a natural birth in a more comfortable way. Pregnant mothers will learn how to use their body’s natural endorphins to decrease or possibly even eliminate pain and fear due to childbirth. This helps eliminate the need for medication which means fewer side effects for you and your baby. Hypnobirthing mothers are in good spirit while laboring and birthing their baby, totally relaxed, but fully in control.
In a lot of other cultures, a child’s birth is regarded as natural and a normal event in a woman’s life. Children aren’t taught to fear giving birth some day they are taught the birth is celebrated and honored and without pain and fear. In our culture, we learn that delivering a baby entails many hours of pain and fear and agonizing work. We experience pain in childbirth, because that is what we are taught from a young age.
If you’re thinking about having a natural childbirth, you really ought to consider hypnosis for childbirth. Hypnobirthing could be just what you need to get rid of the pain and fear that is associated with childbirth. You will be able to experience your child’s birth in a natural and pleasing way. hypnobirthing sounds beautiful. Its so interesting to me the power of the mind when you tap into it. Hypnosis has been used very effectively for people who can't have surgery using other anethesia and its exciting to see it used in such a wonderful manner.
