iPhone vs Blackberry vs Windows Mobile
62Thinking about getting a new smartphone? Keep hearing about iPhone or Blackberry? Here's my personal review of all three smartphone types. I have used all 3 of these phones and have good knowledge of how they operate.
iPhone - This is a great phone. Very user friendly and very easy to use. There are currently about 75,000 apps that you can download for this phone and most of them are free! Developers are constantly creating and modifying apps for this phone. The 3GS's battery is not bad for the amount of usage. If I charge my phone to 100% at 11 pm, have it on all night, use it extensively with music going I will have to charge it again by about 5 pm. the next day. There are ways to conserve battery life like turning off push notifications, wifi, bluetooth, keeping screen off when not using, etc. It is not a great multi-tasking phone however. If you have a third party app open you cannot open another one without closing the first one. Only apps that came on the phone when you bought it can be opened simultaneously so you can play the iPod and check your email or send a text message. Not being able to multi task does have its advantages however. It saves memory on the phone so everything always runs fast. The touch screen is very nice and responsive and makes navigating very easy. Most Blackberrys have a small track ball. The BB Storm is a touch screen but you cannot slide the screen like on the iPhone.
Blackberry/WM - Blackberry and Windows Mobile do have multi-tasking ability. When apps are opened on these phones they are not shut automatically so memory can decrease very quickly if you do not maintain it. I had a Tmobile Dash running WM 6.0 and I was very happy with it. Battery life was good and once I learned how to maintain my open programs, I never ran out of memory and it always ran smooth. Personally I think Blackberry is overrated and everyone has fallen in love with it because it is the 'IN' phone and BBM. BBM is just a messaging protocol similar to AIM or Yahoo. What's the big deal? I think Windows Mobile is just as good as BB and iPhone is even better. iPhone does everything the same or better than these phones and does it with a better user interface. It's almost like being on your PC at home.
One good thing about all these phones is that if you go to sell them, you always get your money back because they are in high demand. Check out my other article on how to get the best prices for your eBay items and beat your competition. Sell High on eBay

You my friend must be joking me.. lol.. Stop being a media whore and actually pick up a wm or bb phone before you compare the OS's. the icrap is not a smart phone its a dumb phone with a nice UI.. from a productive stand point or business stand point the icrap is nothing more then a paper weight when put head to head with a bb or wm phone, even more so then a Mac when measured against a PC. That being said when you put bb vs wm i would 100% say bb and this is coming from someone who wouldnt touch a bb till about a year or so ago. I was always a huge wm fan but everything is just that much better on bb & bbm isn't just a messenger like aim or yahoo or msn or gtalk its much faster and runs much smoother and isn't nearly as bloated as the rest and i have all of them installed on my bb but still mostly use bbm. so in closing i draw my review based on me formally being a wm buff, my girl having every icrap from the first to the current, me currently using a BB, a good amount of my friends having G1's and extensively playing with the palmpre's new webos, i would rate them as such Blackberry (especially OS 5.0), Andriod (only because the don't lock out developers), Windows mobile (mainly because of free application such a excel that are good from a business stand point and you have to pay on bb for them), palmpre webos (mainly because i think it has potential to one day be a good OS) and Iphone (last because it locks out developers, lacks serious business capabilities, the UI was groundbreaking when it first hit the market but has become a bit boring, and because they keep spitting out new phones each year pretending like what they have done is something new and amazing yet tons of other phone have had it for years including their UI that they got sued by LG for, oh i guess u didn't know that!)
PS: didn't mean to come off as a jerk, if i did i'm sorry but i felt if your going to review OS's it would be a nice eye opener!!
