The Apple iPhone 3GS is the enormously popular latest iPhone release. It excels as a phone, media player and internet browser, and with 16 or 32 GB of internal memory, the iPhone 3GS' vast potential for entertainment becomes clear. It's still easy to upload iPhone apps and there are more than 65,000 to choose from!

It goes without saying that the iPhone 3GS is sleek, easy to use and super sexy. Available in white and black, you can also customize the home screen to make your iPhone really unique.

Banned iPhone Apps

Is it right? Is it OK? Apple says no! whatever you think of these iPhone apps, you can't have them (either at all or in their original form):

  • Murderdrome - copyright issues put paid to this one. Based on the "offensive" graphic novel, Infurious.
  • Prohibition II Dope Wars - sounds as parent-friendly as it is (was); fun, addictive, non-PC - of course it was banned!
  • Podcaster - so sleaze or scandal here, just that it was too similar to another app (apparently).
  • I Am Rich - for anyone with an obscene amount of cash and no common sense, this app cost a shred under $1000 for a glimmering red gem on your iPhone screen. Really?! Yup.
  • iBoobs - it's what you think: boobs on an iPhone. bouncing, wobbly and all the other things boobs do (though the people who downloaded this app probably weren't able to verify the authenticity of iBoobs).
  • NetShare - more like NotShare, this app enabled users to access their laptop from their iPhone. Big business clashes put an end to this app.
  • Baby Shaker - pretty self-explanatory and really quite disturbing. that it was banned comes as no surprise to anyone!
  • SlingPlayer - would have let iPhone users watch TV on their iPhone, however WiFi is still available.
  • Obama Trampoline - bouncing politicians in the White House. If that wasn't silly enough, now the app features politicians with paper bags over their heads, but you can still buy this app.

iPhone 3GS Hack

It's not advisable and certainly not endorsed by this Hub, but, for entertainment purposes only, here's a video someone has made, demonstrating how to jailbreak an iPhone:
