iPhone Apps for Students

Here are some great iPhone applications for the student in everyone. There's always time to learn!

Match 'em up is a great application for future Math majors. Colorful and creative, Match 'em up is designed with mathematics problems for preschoolers, kindergartners and elementary school students. The simple design asks students to match math problems with the correct answers. Surprises are in store for students who answer question correctly.  Match 'em up also has a Words version, ideal for kids between ages 3 to 6.

Toddler Flashcards was designed by parents for kids 1-4 years old.  This applications helps toddlers learn basic words, much like picture flashcards.  Pictures and names of animals, foods, letters and numbers are included.  Toddler Flashcards has the ability to teach these words in English, French and Spanish.  Instead of carrying around your toddlers flashcards, grab your iPhone and practice new words anywhere.

Animals come to life while making animal sounds.  All sounds are professionaly recorded from real life farm animals.  The application does not play the names of the animals, only animal sounds.  Animal sounds include pig, cow, sheep, duck and many more.

For the months of March and April, Word Magic has been in the top 10 under Education category for iPhone applications.  For more than six months, Word Magic has been in the top 25 under the Education category.  Word Magic helps kids ages 3 to 6 with words and their spellings.  A picture is shown and kids selest the mission letter.

The Quadratic Equations application is a quick way to solve quadratic equations by completing the square. Great for Math majors! This application offers two data sources: the 205 National Committees - complete with each country/territory with names and flags and the CIA world factbooks which offers information about each country/territory.
