iPhone Games

You've now got your iPhone and are wondering where to download music, movies and iPhone games. You will find many iPhone downloads sites appearing on the internet, some paid membership sites and some free sites that offer you downloads of copyrighted material. Try not to be tempted to download from free websites as many of these free websites publish the material illegally, and you could be prosecuted by downloading from them.

Fortunately, there are a few legitimate websites that provide iPhone downloads and have a great support team. Finding a top quality iPhone membership site is hard, and you should look at the following points before deciding on the iPhone Download site you want to join.

The most important point is that the iPhone download site must have a huge range of media. It is, after all, the main reason why you join the site. You will want to get the most value for your money, and since most iPhone downloads sites' memberships cost the same, having a large number of files to choose from is really necessary. You should be able to choose from a wide range of media, mainly music, movies, games, TV shows and software in any iPhone download site you join. For more information on iPhone media downloads, visit iPhone Music and iPhone Movie downloads.

Download speed is the next important factor. It is not advisable to join iPhone downloads sites with a download limit, since your downloading speed can be very unpredictable, slowing down at the most inconvenient of times.

Different iPhone downloads sites have different payment plans. Most iPhone sites charge you a one time fee, and then you can download as many files as you want with no additional cost. One time membership fee sites are generally more affordable, as you should be downloading many files for your iPhone after joining the site. Look to join a fixed rate iPhone download site if you need to join a site. I strongly recommend having a look at MyPhone Express for the best overall package.

Great Tips for your iPhone

To reset your iPhone, hold down the right button and the "home" front button for about 7 seconds. To power it back on, push the top button. Resetting is different than a normal shutdown, which can be done easily by holding the sleep/wake button for 7 seconds.

If you want to go from the alpha to the non-alpha keyboard quickly, hold down the punctuation key and slide to the character you want to use and then release.

To disable an incoming call from ringing, press the sleep/wake button. If you want to send the call immediately to voice mail, press the sleep/wake button twice.

For a quick 'page down', double-tap towards the bottom of the screen and the page will re-center around your tap. Make sure not to tap a link and you are not in 'zoom-in.'

Do you write a lot? When the iPhone flags a word as misspelled that you know is not misspelled, cancel the correction 3 times and the word will be put into the dictionary.

Do you want to move icons around? You can do this, but not on the home screen. Go to the iPod section (or phone section) > More > Edit and reposition your icons.

Save time scrolling when online - you tap once at the very top of the screen and it will take you back to the top of the window rather than having to scroll all the way back up.

Read more in the Internet window by setting the font to the smallest size. When you want to click a link, you can expand (pinch) that area and the link will come up very large, making it much easier to click.

To zoom onto a specific picture, double-tap the image and Safari will zoom it to fit your iPhone display. If the picture is linked to a URL, you may not want to do this as you will be taken to the page linked from the image. Double-tap again to return to the unzoomed display.

To use the CAPS LOCK feature, first enable it in 'general settings.' And then double-tap on the shift key which will turn blue.

Wanting to find out where you are? Type in the three letter airport code, in maps, and you will be taken to that airport on the map. Zoom out and you will see the surrounding area. This works with all major airports in the United States and many overseas airports as well.

When book marking websites, post the equivalent RSS address rather than posting the full address of internet sites and save that as your bookmark. This way you can quickly see if there's anything interesting on your favorite site rather than downloading the whole homepage.

To zoom onto a text column, double-tap on the column to fit it to the display. Double-tap again to return out of the zoom. Not only does Safari zoom block-quoted text independently of regular text but if you move your finger after the first double-tap-to-fit, it interprets the next double-tap as a re-center page command rather than a return-to-previous-zoom.

A short cut to delete email is to swipe left to right on the email in the list and press the delete button that pops up on the right side.

When you want to send an email, tap on the address bar and the Share button on the top left will create a message for you.

When you are typing an email or any other text, use the magnifying glass. If you tap once and hold, a magnifying glass will pop up showing you a zoomed in view of your words and cursor.

Select a photo for a contact from the iPhone and the selected photo will show up for the caller ID.

If a contact's photo is transferred with the contact's info from the address book, the contact's photo is shown as a thumbnail for the caller ID.
