Bluetooth headsets have created an incredibly polarized nation in the past few years.  Now we have those who don’t even have a Bluetooth headset, and those bluetools who never take them off.  Sometimes I cannot stand the latter crowd, striding around and always talking to people who aren’t there. 

I am one of the former crowd, because I know people who are serious bluetools.  In many ways, I have been avoiding the Bluetooth simply because I thought it would be too complicated, and it wouldn’t work in certain areas.  The iTech i.VoicePRO 901 Bluetooth headset could make a bluetool out of me. 

One of the problems with using headsets is that they are hard to talk to in a crowded place.  Fortunately, the i.VoicePRO 901 has dual microphone performance as well as voice separation technology.  This means that if you are in a room full of people, the person that you are talking to should only hear your conversation, not the conversations of those in the crowd. 

You may note that its shape and that texture resembles that of the popular Jawbone by AliphCom.  I believe many think that the Jawbone and Aliph’s new model the Jawbone prime are the finest Bluetooth headsets on the market today.  I don’t have much experience testing out Bluetooth headsets, save for the Jovio Boom, but I will testify to the quality of the i.VoicePRO 901.  Yes, I don’t get much Bluetooth action. 

I got a chance to try it out the i.VoicePRO 901, and it certainly paired with my mobile phone easily enough.  I found it easy to take and make calls with one button access.  At least, after I had charged it.  By the way, you know how devices take hours upon hours to charge up the first time?  I was amazed that it charged the first time as long as it did previous times.  Charging is accomplished via cord that can hook up to a USB port or an attachment for a normal power outlet. 

The i.VoicePRO 901 has about 100 hours of standby time, and 4.5 hours worth of talk time.  By the way, it has multipoint connectivity that allows more than one cell phone or Bluetooth compatible device can be attached to the i.VoicePRO 901. 

The iTech i.VoicePRO 901 is available on lots of sites including Amazon for about $79.99.  For those who may be “Bluetooth virgins”, I believe this is worth the price and would recommend using it.
