Heaps of great healthy living ideas. Lose that belly fat, diet tips and foods you really need to be eating.
Having a healthy and fit body is definitely on the priority list for many. Everyday we look at ourselves in the mirror checking our hair, clothes and body. Our body image is often related to our self-confidence, so we are always on the lookout for methods to improve our appearances - even if it means just buying a new shirt.
Losing fat and gaining that healthy and toned body is a great deal for many, in particular women in their 20 to 40s. Gyms/fitness centers, weight loss pills, gym equipment, and other methods are available to help people lose weight. Unfortunately, many are still struggling with these unwanted fats. Are all these diet techniques useless? The answer is no. All you need to do is discover the weight loss program that best suits your lifestyle.
Here are 12 important considerations to lose fat:
1. Determine Your Weight
Before any weight loss program begins, you should determine your baseline data. A baseline data will reveal any improvement you’ve made after undergoing the program.
2. Prepare Yourself
Remember that you are trying to lose weight. You should learn to control your desire to eat. Self-discipline is important to achieve optimum results. Try hypnosis or self-help books to prepare your mind for the challenges ahead.
3. Control Your Caloric Intake
Learn to determine how many calories you take each day and keep a record of this. This will serve as your guide when planning your meals. Your body needs to burn 3500 calories as day in order to lose a pound. Using meal planning software can help you control your caloric intake.
4. Check the Food Label
Be conscious enough in choosing your food. Check the food label to determine the caloric value of your food. Choose foods that contain fewer calories.
5. Work More, Eat Less
You should burn more calories than you consume. In order to see results, try exercising twice as much and substituting snacks for healthy foods. Exercise can even be using the firestairs at work rather than the elevator, providing you trigger no fire alarms of course ;-) .
6. Eat a Balanced Meal
Eating right means you choose foods that have a positive effect on your body. Eat foods that contain vitamins and minerals. By eating a balanced meal, it will make you feel good and energetic throughout your day. Even simple things as substituting margarine for butter.
7. Mind What You Eat
You should learn how to keep track of all the foods you have taken in 24 hours. In this manner, you can avoid binge eating.
8. Hydration
Keep your body hydrated so that your cells utilize more energy and lessen your cravings for food.
9. Avoid Eating Fatty Foods
Avoid eating anything that increases your weight rather than losing it. If you don’t take control, you’re weight loss program might become useless. There are good fats and bad fats. Good fats lower cholesterol whilst bad fats do the reverse.
10. Satisfy Your Hunger
Eat foods that satisfy you. If you feel hungry, don’t hesitate to eat because skipping meals might even lead you to crave for more. It's better to eat many small meals rather than 2 or 3 large meals a day.
11. Support System
Support from your family and friends can become a factor to achieve your optimum goal of losing fat. Dotti's Weight Loss Zone, Weight Watchers and other support groups exist for dieters.
12. Don’t Lose Hope
Every step you take is an achievement. Don’t push yourself too hard. Lifestyle changes are not made overnight. Keep your focus!
What Could Be? What Might Be? What Is! It's Your Choice.

Great Hub! Thank goodness I am purple! Just started my spring tone up routine. I carry my weight well, but know that I am a bit soft right now... One of your best tips - write down what you eat! No fooling! Reality check!
I am at the edge of the purple LOL. I used to have trouble coz I was so skinny. Now I have to make sure I don't jump over the overweight section. The dancing helps a lot. :-)
