The Immediate Edge is an internet marketing membership site created by Dan Raine and Ed Dale. For those, who aren't familiar with the names, they are the folks behind the 30 Day Challenge, a free course for internet marketers wanting to make their first $1 online. I participated in last years 30 Day Challenge it was really a great course. The guys teach the latest internet marketing strategies that really work. So when I first heard about The Immediate Edge membership, I jumped at the chance to see what it was all about.

Some caveats before I give my full Immediate Edge review. First, the membership is not cheap at $97 a month. While the 30 Day Challenge is meant for newer internet marketers, The Immediate Edge is meant for more serious marketers who want to take their earnings to the next level. The membership is for people who want to build a long term, internet marketing business and are willing to invest the money to do so.

When you first log into the Immediate Edge site, you will probably have a hard time figuring out where to start. There is a ton of information on the site, and it will literally take you weeks to go through everything.

Immediate Edge Newsletters

I would first suggest taking a look at reading the Immediate Edge Newsletters first. At the time of this writing, there are 14 Newsletters and a new one gets published every month. Each newsletter is written by Dan Raine himself and they are in an easy to read PDF format. I haven't even read of all of them yet but I have really been impressed by their content so far. They cover everything from building your list using squeeze pages, using Web 2.0 properties to dominate the SERPS, pay per click marketing, CPA offers, and a whole lot more. Each newsletter demonstates the topics being taught by showing actual examples that Dan uses himself. If any scripts are used, links are also provided so you can implement them as well on your own sites. Even if you decide not to stay on with the Immediate Edge, do yourself a favor and download the PDFs to your computer so you always have access to them.

Immediate Edge Training

There is a ton of content available under the Immediate Edge Training section. There are currently 20 different training categories ranging from Finding A Niche, to Copywriting, to Selling Your Site. If you drill down to a specific category, you will get access to various lessons within that category. Each lesson is either a pdf, audio, or video file that you can download and peruse at your leisure. For example, in the Copywriting training, you will learn how to write sales letters, come up with good headlines and much more.

Immediate Edge Tools

There are several tools in the tool section, but I wanted to highlight one of them which is called Edge Networker. Edge Networker is an automated social bookmarking tool, sort of like Bookmarking Demon. Actually it does even more than that, including RSS feed submission and automatic pinging. Edge Networker will help you get your sites indexed more quickly and slowly build links to your sites over time as it submits your urls to major social bookmarking sites along with blog, feed, and site directories.

Immediate Edge Final Thoughts

I have actually only covered about half the stuff on the Immediate Edge site. You will also find a live case study that documents the team as they build a new $10k business. The library section contains several other extras like downloadable scripts and interviews. And finally, no membership site is complete without a place for members to ask questions which you can do at the Immediate Edge forums.

Any 30 Day Challenge participant knows that Ed Dale and Dan Raine are very good teachers and are expert internet marketers. They have used the strategies they teach themselves and have made a lot of money with them. The Immediate Edge is really a fountain of knowledge for any serious internet marketer and you should definitely take a look and see if it can help you make some money.
