paya is one the most famous dishes here......paya are own as " lamb or goat or cow trotters"
trotters mean "legs"?
Trotters are the ankle and feet (hooves).
This sounds delicious. I will definately have to try it.
Yes. I just love paya. They have a unique heavenly taste. It has a very long cooking time though.

hi mam can u tell how many calories it consists?
Hi rateesh. This recipe is pretty high in proteins and calcium. I have no idea about the caloric value of this recipe but I presume it may be on a higher side. This preparation is good for convalescent patients who have had a surgery especially bone surgery. I will let you know about the caloric value as soon as I find it out. Thanks for visiting and have you tried out this preparation? If not than please do.
Kulsum Ji you did not write how much salt to be used in Pay Dish.
Hi, Hakeem Adul Mohammedji. For 12 payas one should use 2 to 2 1/2 tspns of salt. I prefer though that you use salt to taste in this dish. Thanks for stopping by.
