Introduction

Soap making as being made simple that, it can be made within your home at any time soap being the daily need of every home is necessary for every body to use either for bathing, washing and doing the daily laundry work.

So we think its necessary to publish this project to the net for easy contacts most especially for any body who wish to do research on how to make soap of different fragrance, color and sizes.

Materials for making soaps

1. P.k. oil
2. Caustic Soda
3. Soda ash
4. S.T.P.P.
5. Silicate
6. C.M.C
7. Perfume
8. Colorant

What are the function of each Materials

1. P.K. Oil: The palm kernel Oil bind together all the chemicals
2. Caustic Soda: Is the base chemical for production of soap there are two types of caustic soda (a) light (b) dense. The light is used for make detergent soap while the Dense is used for making bar soap and Toilet soaps
3. S.T.P.P: It act as the foaming and preservative agents there are also two types ( light and dense)
4. silicate: It act as the shining agents it makes soap to look shining.
5. Soda Ash:There are two of soda ash ( Light and Dense)
6. C.M.C: It controles the texture of the soap.
7. Perfume: Ad fragrance it give soap the smell you want
8. Colorants : It gives the soap the color you want

1st Ferment the caustic soda with 1 cup of caustic soda in a bowl of 4 cups of water and allowed to ferment for 48 hrs that is 2 days, then Ferment the soda ash with 1 cup of soda ash with 4 cups of a bowl of water.

Preparation of soap

P.K Oil + Colorant + (Caustic soda + C.M.C) + (soda ash + S.T.P.P) + silicate + perfume) satire continuously and pure into wooden mold container plastic container
