How to Expand your 3g network Iphone's battery life!

So I have noticed that the 3g Iphone's battery life isnt as great as some of the previous models. I got tired of my battery dieing half way though the day. Or I always feel scared to do certain things for to long because I dont want to drain the battery. So I decided to do a little research and find out what I can change or do to fix my problem and I found a lot of this usefull information.

Another problem is a little deseving with the 3G Iphone there battery indicator is a little wack, meaning it doesnt read the right levels of battery life, but ill show some tips and tricks to fix that as well.

Get a battery charger pack- If you are constently on your Iphone and you drain it all the time and are looking to keep your self charged on the go then i would recomend one of the battery charger packs above amazon has the best deals!!!!! Reset your Iphone- This will prevent application from draining your battery when they are not suppost to. Its good to give it a little reboot so everything is running properly, It also doesnt hurt to leave it off for a little bit and give it some times to rest. Constanly running your Iphone 3G creates ware and tear, and turning it off or reseting your Iphone will help saves its life expecdency and prevent applications from draning your battery.

Keep your Iphone Locked- This will prevent you from accidently calling someone, or running unwanted applications.... which will result in your battery being drained.

Force Quite Applications- If you notice a dramatic drop in your battery life, try force quitting an application you just opened and then restart it. That tends to be an error in the battery meter and is a pretty simple fix with a force quite, restart.

Let your battery Die completly- By doing this you are gaining a whole new fresh charge, which will last a lot longer. Giving it fresh energy to run off of is great. Let it charge over night once it dies, stop adding new juice ontop of the old....

Reset to original settings- This just keeps everything in order and it runs best at these settings. Makes things effiecent and your battery life last longer if you do this everyonce in awhile.

watch out for those draining apps- avoid running application that keep your back light on. This prevents your iphone from going into sleep mode, which if it doesnt will zap your battery up quick. Sleep mode is the best way to conserve a battery, well other than turning it off.

Use Airplane mode- Even if your not in flight! Still use it, its is great because it limits a lot of the applications that can run and keep it at bare minumum needed to run.... which means more battery life. So if your bat is about to die, than just flip that on and your going to get a little extra life out of it!

Disable Wi-fi and 3G- When your not using them, turn them off.... these require a lot of power to run because there constantly pulling a signal. So if you turn them off when your not using them its going to save you in the long run.

Listening to music, Turn off that Equalizer- Im sure most of you dont sit there and stare at it the whole time while your listening to music, even though it is cool to look at! Turn it off its just wasting that energy.
