Is Acne Free in 3 Days a scam?

No, it's not a scam. But it's not exactly a hallmark of honest marketing either.

Acne Free in 3 Days offers some good advice that can help you on your journey to clear skin. Still, it falls short of the promises in the sales letter.

Acne Free in 3 Days is marketed as "the scientifically proven way to permanently clear skin in just three days."

Let's separate the facts from the fiction.

Why people hate Acne Free in 3 Days

Of all the acne treatments and books out there Chris Gibson's Acne Free in 3 Days tops the 'Most Hated Acne Treatments' list. People comment in popular acne forums that they'll strangle Mr. Gibson at sight.

What happened to these people? Why they react so strongly?

Here's what happens to most people who buy Acne Free in 3 Days. Imagine you going through this.

You read the sales letter and get excited. Maybe this is the answer. You want to believe all the promises.

You buy the book and read it.

It tells you how to do a three-day apple fast with daily enemas and some supplements. Sounds weird. How could that help your acne? Still you decide to give it a shot.

First day goes by and your skin still looks the same. Second day. Perhaps your acne gets a little worse and doubts creep into your mind. Still you decide to go through it. Come third evening and your skin starts to look better.

Fourth morning you wake up, walk to the bathroom and check your skin.

Oh my god! It's working. All the pimples have vanished and red spots faded a lot.

You are dancing on cloud number nine and shoot Chris an email and thank him for saving your life. Later that day your email finds its way to the testimonials in the sales letter.

So far so good. It seems you finally solved your acne problem. Few weeks pass and your skin still looks good.

Until one morning. You check your skin and there's a pimple. Next day one more pimple raises its ugly head. Pretty soon you slide back to where you started.

And that permanent freedom you dreamed of for the past weeks is ripped off from you.

You send Mr. Gibson another email and ask for a refund because his program didn't work for you... That can be a whole different story, but let's not go there.

So, something good, something bad. The good news is that by following Acne Free in 3 Days it's possible to get clear. And pretty quickly. It doesn't work for everybody, but for many people it does.

The bad news is that it's only a temporary solution. And the undelivered promises in the sales letter set you up for failure and disappointment.

Why Acne Free in 3 Days can never permanently cure acne

The essence of Acne Free in 3 Days can be boiled into this: a 3-day apple fast.

Apple fast is a way to detoxify your body. And a good one. I've used it many times myself.

Basically you eat nothing but apples for three days. This gives your body a change to throw out toxins, chemicals and other poisons. The body also returns to a better state of health and this helps with acne.

But detoxing is only a small part of the solution to clear skin. It's one piece of the puzzle, but not the whole puzzle. Plus it's not even that big of a piece.

Curing acne has much more to do with how you live your life day-to-day than what you do once in a while.

Detoxing can boost your efforts to cure acne, but you need to follow it up with proper diet and lifestyle. If you go back to your old lifestyle (that caused acne in the first place) you erase the positive effects the detox had.

And in explaining how to create a lifestyle that keeps you clear, Acne Free in 3 Days falls flat on its face.

It has some superficial dietary advice, but noting very helpful. At least in the edition I read.

Is Acne Free in 3 Days worth the money?

If Acne Free in 3 Days shows you how to get clear, even if temporarily, many people would say it's worth the price.

Yes, it's definitely much better choice than Proactiv or other acne products. It's all natural and has no side effects. Plus you don't have to buy something every month.

And it does have some good information.

It's just that you can get it all for free. Just Google 'apple fast' or 'apple fast enema' and you'll get the essence of Acne Free in 3 Days. The rest of the book is little besides Mr. Gibson's story of how he cured his acne. Nice pep story, but not worth $40.

In the end, Acne Free in 3 Days is not a scam. Just an example of clever and rather deceptive marketing.

It has some good information and you have a good chance to get clear or at least significantly improve your skin. Still, don't expect it to be the permanent solution you are looking for.

No matter what the sales letter promises.

And again, why would you pay for information when you can find much better for free? Like one reader wrote...

"First of all. This was free and you're basically giving away the same information Chris Gibson is selling for 40 bucks. All though yours is more detailed on how to stay acne free."

To find out what he means check my Acne Free in 3 Days review. And find out why he and 94.7% of the readers say free Acne 101: What Einstein would have done to get clear minicourse helps them to permanently cure acne.

This is all part of the marketing scam. You simply cannot get rid of acne in 3 days. It takes a long time to get clear and stay clear; wash your face every day with a good face soap, moisturise and use some benzoyl peroxide, The best site is www.acne.org it has a very good forum and lots of advice.
