Martians?

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is the seventh largest and 227,940,000 kilometers from the sun.

We have seen movies about Martians. Question about possible life on Mars has also been asked many times.

In recent years, robotic spacecrafts have been sent to Mars, circling the planet, taking pictures, and even landed and taking soil samples. Pictures of the terrains of Mars surface have been sent back to earth too. But there was no visible life form.

The answer to - "Can planet Mars support life?" can also depend on how the term "life" is define. If we use the definition according to the English dictionary, than life on Mars is highly impossible.

There might be other form of "life" that can only survive on Mars. If they are ever to be brought out of Mars enviroment, they would "die". Hence "life" on Mars is very much dependant on how you look at it.

I don't think we can confirm within this century if there is any life on Mars despite the numerous space probes and landing crafts we sent to this red planet. Only God knows.

If an astronaut were sent to Mars, would he/she die if (s)he took off his/her space suit?
