Is the world getting warmer? Well duh, we have proof of that, however the why is more disputed. There are many different answers to the question as to why the earth is getting warmer. Some say it is because of us human beings. Some say it is the natural progression of weather patterns. Some say it is the end of the world. All are correct.

Here is my view. The earth is getting warmer because of pollution, natural weather patterns, the world is going to end and the earth is tilting on it's axis.

The solution is not to pay for carbon offset credits, that is just a get rich quick scheme set up by Al Gore and his associates. You can save a lot more money if you just bought a tree and planted it yourselves. Take time out of your busy schedule of checking your blackberry 23 times a day and talking to people on your cell phone and plant a tree, and some grass, or better yet walk that two blocks to the store instead of driving. I am lucky that I only live two blocks from a great view of a waterfall.

I think Al Gore and the rest of Hollywood needs to shut up and start leading by example. I also think that Al Gore needs to sell off his mansions (except for one) or better yet put some homeless people in them. He needs to cut down on his private jet travel, take a commercial flight.

I figured that if everyone planted two trees each we would have approximately 6 billion new trees. they take a while to grow I know but what does it hurt nothing. If you see garbage on the ground, pick it up and throw it away. Turn the heat off at night, or when you are gone. I am guilty of not doing some of these things. I am not trying to convict people of not doing these things. I am just giving some alternatives too having too spend your hard earned money on carbon offsets, when you could do it yourself.
