The Isle of Wight Festival 2008 will be the seventh since the Isle of Wight Festival was revived on the Seaclose Park Site, it is due to take place on 13th, 14th & 15th June 2008, and 60,000 fans will be rocking over the weekend.

sle of Wight Festival 2008 is already playing home to some of the hottest acts on the planet this summer and there's now a whole lot more to look forward to as Amy MacDonald, Starsailor, Newton Faulkner, The Answer, One Night Only, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Blackstone Cherry and the Delays are all added to the bill on 13th, 14th & 15th June.

Having already announced Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police as the three stunning Festival headliners plus N.E.R.D, Ian Brown, The Kooks, Lily Allen, KT Tunstall, The Zutons, The Enemy, Iggy and The Stooges, The Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls, the Isle of Wight Festival 2008 is set to be the best yet.

Fresh from celebrating his well deserved Brit Award nomination for Best British Male Solo Artist, Newton Faulkner will swap Sussex for the Solent this summer and show off songs from his No. 1, platinum selling debut album ‘Hand Built By Robots'. Also celebrating an outstanding debut is singer/songwriter Amy MacDonald, whose album ‘This is the Life' just knocked Radiohead off the top spot. This top Scot will be showing why at the Isle of Wight Festival 2008.

Making a welcome return to the Isle of Wight Festival are indie rockers Starsailor and adding to the hot newcomers are Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, The Answer, One Night Only and Blackstone Cherry, plus Southampton's very own Delays.

Now in its seventh year since its reincarnation in 2002, the Isle of Wight Festival brings together 50,000 free spirited, music loving, friends, families and Festival

goers in front of one almighty stage, in a simply stunning setting. It is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive and well-loved festivals on the calendar and the two UK Festival Awards for Best Major UK Festival and Outstanding Contribution to Festivals (awarded to John Giddings) are proof of just that.
