Recently Windows has reported that iTunesSetup.exe is not a " iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. "
Is this true?
No. Let me explain here:Did you download the itunes in your Internet Explorer Web Browser ?
If yes, the most possible reason why you get the message "not a valid win32 application", is that that installer file was damaged during downloading OR the download was not complete. Check out your "POP-UP BLOCKER". Is it turned ON? If yes, you may need to download itunes again. This time make sure that the "Pop-Up Blocker" is turned OFF. I recommend using firefox to avoid any such problem.iTunes, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000 is most affected with this.

Solution to iTunesSetup.exe Win32 Application Error problem:
Follow these steps to remove temporary Internet files which may be preventing the iTunes installer from downloading properly:
- 1. Remove all copies of iTunesSetup.exe from your computer.
- 2. Open Internet Explorer.
- 3. Delete History (Choose Tools > Delete Browsing History_
- 4. Download and installiTunesagain.
If the above steps does not solve the problem then try the following steps:
- 1. Locate and remove all copies of QuickTimeInstaller.exe and iTunesSetup.exe that have been downloaded.
- 2. Download the latest version of QuickTime without iTunes first.
- 3. Download the latest version of iTunes.
- 4. While you download itunes Installer, you will be prompted whether you want to RUN or SAVE iTunesSetup.exe. Select RUN. This will installes the program right from the source itself.
