Fun & Funky – Jansport Luggage
85What could be bad about luggage named "chocolate chip daiquiri squares"? This is the latest bright colorful collection from the superbreak luggage line of Jansport Luggage. This is fun luggage that is also durable in the Jansport tradition. It definitely stands out in the crowd! You'll immediately spot this bright colored luggage at busy airport carousels. The 22" and 24" cases have a two-inch expandable gusset for extra room when you need it. This is handy when you like to buy lots of souvenirs or shop when you travel. The main compartment has locking #10 zippers for ease in closing an over-stuffed bag. The dual tube pull up handle system has a locking push or pull mechanism. This allows you to push the luggage or pull it along as need be through busy air and train terminals. The luggage also has corner-mounted inline skate wheels. This gives you stable controlled motion through all types of floor surfaces whether you are wheeling out to car or over carpeting. The bottom grip located near the feet allows you to lift the case easily no matter which direction it comes on the airport luggage carousel. The luggage has corner guards for added protection from scuffing and abrasion. There are two zippered front pockets with weather resistant rainwelts. That means if it's raining the water will probably roll off rather than go in the bag through the zipper. Jansport luggage has a handy detachable add-a-bag strap to "piggyback" additional smaller pieces. The luggage is lightweight with a flexible frame that is tough and travel ready. The 24" size weighs less than nine pounds. That's really lightweight and keeps easily within the new airline regulations concerning overweight baggage. The matching travel tote has a shoulder strap with adjustable pad for comfort when carrying. Their tote can be carried on to the airplane as a personal bag along with the 22" carry on luggage. The 22" carry on weighs less than eight pounds. In the tote, there's one main compartment with an interior pocket. A side water bottle pocket and a magazine or newspaper stash sleeve is on the outside. Remember you need to purchase water after you've gone through the airport security. An interior pocket is handy for your passport, photo identification, and boarding pass. Keep in mind that you cannot carry any liquids or gels onto the plane in your carry on luggage except in a 3-1-1 case. This is a clear plastic bag of one quart size, and the bottles or containers have to be three ounces or less. The tote has a sleeve that slides over the pull up handle allowing it to ride along on top. With the add-a-bag straps you can wheel three pieces along easily with one hand! The tote only weighs one pound three ounces and is a great piece for overnight travel. It can also be packed flat inside your luggage and used to bring home purchases. Because this is Jansport, they also make the matching backpack. They are available in the wheeled version or regular backpack and make studying lots of fun!
