John Hughes - Director, Writer, 80s Visionary

The director behind the camera for hit after teen hit in the 80s and writer of dozens more, died today, August 6, 2009, of a heart attack while out for a walk.

We honor a great visionary director who gave teenagers a voice, propelled the careers of the Brat Pack, made us laugh while looking into ourselves, and made the 80s what it was.

John Hughes - RIP
