no one in Kashmir celebrates
the Independence Day of India.
This may seem Shocking to my
friends in India but it is Very
True.Independence Day of India
is nothing but an "IMPRISONMENT
Day" for Kashmiris. It is more
commonly known by the name of "YAUME SIYAH" or "BLACK DAY".
While writing these lines yesterday...the whole of Kashmir
was plying in the Dark as the Blackout was being observed
& in the backdrop, the silence of night was broken by the
slogans ---
"HUM KYA CHAHTEY...AZAADI,
HAI HAQ HUMARA...AZAADI,
CHHEEN KE LENGE...AZAADI".
"JIS KASHMIR KO KHOON SE SEENCHA
WOH KASHMIR HAMARA HAI"
Everyone observed the BLACK OUT yesterday!!
One thing must be borne in mind that WE WERE/ARE NEVER AGAINST
YATRA. It is still going on smoothly. Plz note that Kashmiri
Muslims have been conducting Yatra even before the existence of Independent India.
Unfortunately, these days witnessed a lot of Bloodshed & thus
the Freedom movement gained the momentum.
Kashmir's new generation also became witness to the "Never-Ever
Portrayed Image & ground reality situation of Kashmir".
The current situation has re kindled/Re-Ignited & Rejuvenated
the Spirit of Freedom among the Kashmiri Masses. It has
strengthened our Resolution to fight for our Dignity, our Birth
Right....Right to be Free!!
Why is it that we are always being portrayed as Terrorists???
Rightly said, "One Country's Freedom Fighter is another
Country's Terrorist"....
If India claims Kashmir to be its "ATOOT ANG",
then why is it that India has cut all the veins,
all the roads leading to its so called "GLORIOUS CROWN"???????
India can use 7,00,000 or more Armed forces to Close
Srinagar - Muzaffarabad Road but not use 2,00,000 of them to
Open Jammu - Srinagar Highway & let the Kashmiris starve to
Death. Shame!!!
If they say Kashmir is the "HEAD" of India, then I firmly
believe it being the "HEADACHE" more than the HEAD...
So the point is to inform the Innocent Civil Society of
India who are being misled by their National media to make them aware of the reality.
Henceforth, it is our Joint Responsibility to SHOW & SEE the Truth. People residing outside Kashmir have the Duty & Responsibility to SEE & Find out the Truth themselves rather than relying on the False/one sided/Indianised misleading News about what is going on, what the Country does in Kashmir?? & suffering Kashmiris have the responsibility to SHOW the world WHAT REALLY is happening here. it is really our badluck to see kashmir in such a condition. Inspite of providing them each and every facility they are against us. Constitution of Kashmir should be same as of other states.

We love the J & K and people living there. We are against any atrocities committed there either by armed forces or by terrorists. Why don't people understand that all the problems can be solved through talks and not by bullet. One thing is still not clear. If there is a demand for autonomy , India government is ready to concede it. If there is demand for independence then vital question is how free is POK. It is practically being ruled by the Pakistan. If such type of independence is needed then what is wrong with remaining in India. Even if Kashmir is made an independent state, will it absorb all the Muslim from India. Tom morrow there will be another demand for independence of some Muslim majority areas. Is there an end to it?
Most pertinent question is of amenities, food and employment. Why don't people of Kashmir make a demand for better facilities and employment? Poor people are never concerned with the ruler. They are much concerned who helps them to get rid of their hunger.
All the problems are created by the political leaders. Politics is such a dirty thing that it never care for caste,religion or nationalism. It cares only for vested interests. They are be fooling all the people and never want peace either in Pakistan, Afganistan or India.
It is strange that people like the author of this article want to put several muslims families in danger. They want them in war unrelializing that their youth is being killed and poverty is engulping them. They want to go with Pakistan who could not manage their own country, where violence has become the most common profession, every youth is joing bomb blast squads instead of joining a job. What will such a country give to Kashmir and Kashmiris. If they cannot save their capital how will they save a sidelined border state of theirs. Don't fall under the misconceptions. Nobody is disturbing Kashmiris from studying well and join great job opportunities offered in Major cities of India. Does anybody ever ask befoe giving a job that why r you Muslim or why do you belong to Kashmir? Instead everybody feels happy on meeting a Kashmiri and they praise the beauty of their land and people.
Few muslim people like the author have tried to endanger a lot of kashmiri families, but remember - India is only using its 10% strength in Kashmir to control terrorism or may be less. When situation will go to extreme it is very easy for India to use the rest of 90% to prove it is Indian state and no terrorism will be acceptable. Remeber Bangladesh which Pakistan could not save and their 98000 souldiers surrendered!! How can they separate Kashmir from India. India is linient so far - otherwise it is not a tough task to control few infilterators and that will be done if these people do not understand. Also remember how India controlled Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Punjab. When it goes out of hand Government wakes up and used its iron hand - for which ticchhu countries like Pakistan have no reply.
my sincere advice to indian govt is that all indian forces should be called back so that kashmiri people live in peace and harmony and indian govt must admit that jammu and kashmir is a disputed territory which must be let free as per the wishes of its citizens

Pakistan has no legal and constitutional authority to issue any legal order to merge Gilgit Baltistan or to declare it as its province. United Kashmir People's National Party ( UKPNP) has called upon an emergency meeting in this regard. Pakistan is violating and it has been violating United Nations Commission for India Pakistan resolutions and recommendation since 63 years of division of former princely state of Jammu & Kashmir. Party has also called a meeting in central secretariat in Pakistani Administered Kashmir, where central leadership and zonal leadership including town and village level unit activist would be participating to discuss grave issue of Gilgit Baltistan constitutional package. Party Chairman Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, Senior Vice Chairman Waqar kazmi Advocate, secretary General Sardar Ishtiaque Hussain, Organizer Mumtaz Khan, Sardar Altaf Khan, Professor Rafiq Bhatti, and zonal leaders Syed Tahir Hussain Shah, General Secretary Zulfiqar Malik, Yousaf Kashmiri, Sardar Sheeraz Chughtai, Khawajah Rafique, Zaheer Khan, Aman Ullah Khan, Ishtiaque Mir, Khawajah Abid, Dr. Sultan, Nasir Sharif, Mansoor Tahir, Party London unit office bearers, Zaffar Chughtai, Jamil Latif, Usman Kiani, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, Raja Khalid Khan, Irfan Kiani, Sardar Asad Khan and others and Belgium unit office bearers Muhammad Ishaque Khan, Sikandar Abbas, Jamil Maqsood, Naqi Ashraf Yasir Younas, Raja Shahid Iqbal, Maqbool Khan, Yasir Saddique, Tahir Ashraf and Sajid Hussain and Party Italy unit Asif Abbas, Yasir Naveed Khan and Muhammad Saleem khan unanimously and out rightly rejected Pakistani Government decision to impose so called constitutional act on the people of Gilgit Baltistan. Party Chair in his message to Party workers in the country and abroad said that we would have to be ready to launch a vigorous campaign against Pakistani state institutions expansionist policies and strategy to grab the strategically important areas like Gilgit Baltistan, so that we could save our geography and territory. He said that present decision of Government of Pakistan is clear violation of the verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan in 1999, that these areas are part of former princely state of Jammu Kashmir and therefore, can't be separated and Pakistani Administered Kashmir High court in 1992, have issued a similar verdict by ordering local authorities at Muzaffarabad to resume the control of these areas. if we shall not come out today Pakistan will declare Pakistani Administered Kashmir ( Azad Kashmir) as its province.After meetings of United Kashmir People's National Party a date shall be announce to demonstrate in front of Pakistani embassies and High commissions through out the world where a single Kashmiri conscious person and nationalist is residing mainly in important diplomatic stations like Brussels, London, Geneva ( In front of the United Nations), Washington DC and Toronto ( Canada). In Brussels Party International secretariat will call on journalists to speak on the issue and to announce the date of demonstration.

Brussels: Congratulation to civil society, lawyers associations, progressive, secular political parties and above them all people of Pakistan that eight years of tyrannical and totalitarian rule of Military has been end. This is stated by the Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri Chairman United Kashmir Peoples National Party in a press statement. Sardar Shaukat Ali kashmri emphasized on coalition Government first to reinstate deposed judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Make due legislation to accountable secret agencies before the law and they should act upon according to the law of the land. The state security should given to the police and secret agencies should abide by the law. Police should be given more privileges like Pakistani army having, like schools, hospitals, and cheap goods markets in the country. Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri have demanded that coalition Government must focus on the formation of constitutional assembly for the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan respectively in the light of European Parliament resolution and other international covenants regarding Kashmir issue. The role of secret agencies in formation and controlling of local authorities at Muzaffarabad must be end now. The terrorists infrastructure must be dismantled properly and game of hide and seek must have an end. All non Kahsmiri fighters who are residing in the borders areas ( Neelam Valley, Nakyal Kotli, Poonch Hajira, Bhimber district), next to the line of control must remove from eh area and all training camps secret or open must be dismantled in order to gain the fruits of peace process. The representation of students, civil society, lawyers, professionals, academicians, political leaders, businessmen, and women must be encouraged in people of people contact between all parts of former princely state of Jammu Kashmir. United Kashmir Peoples National Party, have demanded that all natural and historical trade routs of state of Jammu Kashmir reopened immediately and cultural and social-economic interaction be made possible between people of Gilgit Baltistan and Ladakh Kargil. United Kashmir Peoples National Party emphasized on Government of Pakistan to abolish constitutional restraints in the constitutional act of 1974, and that twelve legislative assembly seats inside Pakistan must be removed. Those living in Pakistan for more than 30 years have fully integrated in the society and that have got good privileges, houses, Businesses, Jobs, education etc. Mr. Kashmiri is his message to all stakeholders said that it is time to support progressive and secular forces in the periphery of Pakistan the so called Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. He said that if we believe that we are a honorable part of global world and that globalization is a historical dialect of materialism then ruling forces in Pakistan would have to rethink their old fashioned policies of cold war era and that of two nations theory. The time has proved that anything can be achieved with struggle and dedication with absolute commitment, and that we have been supporting democratic forces since our student life and from the world highest forum of the United Nations Council of Human Rights to the European Parliament, from United States department to international crisis group, in our meeting and briefings that the spirit of winning the war against terrorism, extremism, fanaticism lies in democracy and plural democratization of the entire society. Regional civil society, progressive and secular political forces to stand against fanatics and terrorist for the cause of future generations, regional peace, stability and prosperity Mr. Kashmiri have said.
