Kavya madhavan started her acting career at a tender age of five with ‘Pookaalam Varavaayi’, directed by Kamal. She made debut as a heroine through Lal Jose’s second film ‘Chandranudikunna Dikkil’ with Dileep as her hero.That was a huge hit in kerala and she got the required break. She went on to do films like ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’, ‘Sahayathrikaykku Snehapoorvam’, ‘Madhuranombarakaattu’, ‘Darling Darling’ and ‘Dosth’. She has been staying at the top ever since grabbing the position through films like ‘Thenkasipattanam’, ‘Oomapenninu Uriyaadappayyan’ and the blockbuster ‘Meesha Madhavan’.Many other unlisted here also remains in her credit.

Kavya is seen mostly with Dileep but she has also acted with many other actors like Mohanlal, Jayaram, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jaysuriya, Kunchako Boban, Prithviraj and Indrajit.
