kdl40z5500 review
83I have just had a chance to review the last of Sony TV's for 2009 and I have to say that Sony have saved the best for last!
The new z5500 series is one of the best LCD TV's that i've had the pleasure to review and this really is going to become an instant classic.
The kdl40z5500 looks like a work of art and this television really will revolutionise the way you view a television. The new Sony KDL40Z5500 is no ordinary television; with its sleek design and bright picture, the kdl40z5500 looks as good switched off as it does on, thanks to seamless contours and a glossy finish…you will not be looking at just a black box sitting in the corner of your room, but a statement piece of design. When I added a Blu-Ray of Wall-E to see just how far Sony had come, I really was gobsmacked, this TV has it all.
It’s modern technological innovation at its best; the new Sony kdl40z5500 is the perfect addition to a modern home!
The KDL40Z5500 delivers some great features like full HD 1080, allowing you to watch sports, movies and games in high definition with 1920x1080 pixel resolution, just wait until you hook this baby up to your sky hd box! . A motion-flow 200Hz with IB reduction offers the smoothest on screen motion and most detailed fast-moving images…
Modern technological innovation at its best, the new Sony kdl40z5500 is the perfect addition to a modern home! Available from 32", the Sony kdl40z5500 delivers the next generation in picture excellence; unrivalled in depth, clarity and picture/colour richness.
The new Sony KDL40Z5500 really is a stunning addition to your home and this TV will impress again and again.
If your looking to buy the new Sony Z Series make sure you do your home work and get the best deal for the KDL40Z5500 lcd TV. To take advantage of all the great features that this TV has to offer including the amazing picture quality, make sure you hook this baby up to a Blu Ray player. I have found a new love and it's called the kdl-40z5500!

Worthless!!
It has nothing to do with a review.
So, where is the review? What I read here could just be copied from the Sony spec.
sounds like a sony employee to me.....
He needs to brush up on his homework as this model starts at the 40" not 32" as he's stated
Just returned mine. Backlight bleeding and inferior backlighting uniformity on the screen edges were the reasons. Very disappointed...
Who the hell is this fellow? Repeating himself over and over again. I own this model and they start at 40" not 32 as stated. What a dummo. You cannot make any informed decision by reading this review. It hardly mentions the features of the set, and its capabilities!!!
Horible blacks, 'go' add is snowy, shallow depth of field, very good for HD, horrible for SD

Unhelpful and uninformative - I doubt the reviewer has spent any time with this model.
