Kennywood test ride!

Kennywood Amusement Park

Kennywood Park is located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It's one of the best parks around. It has been around for many years, since 1898! And still has some of the best rides like the wooden roller coaster and also has many of the newer rides.

There are 31 major rides available at the park, which includes 3 water rides, there are 3 wood coasters, and there is even a kiddie land with 14 rides for the kids.

The Jackrabbit has been around for many years, since 1921! This is an awesome roller coaster still on wood. It has a double dip drop that will leave your stomach at the bottom! This has been at Kennywood park since it opened. It only goes 45mph but with the sounds of the coaster going across the wood, it feel like much faster.

The other Wood coaster is the Racer. These are 2 coasters side by side and they race each other. For 1 1/2 minutes you are in a race with the other coaster. This too is one of the older rides at Kennywood, being around since 1927.

Looking for an old ride that is relaxing? the Olde Kennywood Railroad is one. This will take you on a ride where you can see the river from the train.

Kennywood still has the Whip. This is an awesome ride that has thrilled many over the years.

Of course even though the still have the old rides there are many of the newer rides that are faster and more exciting and will thrill everyone.

Kennywood has many places to eat, and there is live entertainment going on nightly there.

There is always something for everyone to do at Kennywood. They do offer season passes, and tehre are many hotels in the area so you don't have to drive home after spending a fun day at Kennywood Park.
