Keyword Elite 2 New Features
Current Keyword Elite
owners should be happy to know that Keyword Elite 2.0 is about to be
released. I've been using this tool for the past year now, and it is
definitely a great tool for finding keywords. Whether I need to
research keywords for my PPC campaigns or for SEO purposes, it has
always been my goto tool. The new version of the software looks really
great, and I am anxiously waiting to play with it when it is released.
Below are a few highlighted changes that will be part of this new release.
Brand new interface. The user interface of the program has been completely revamped. It is much more attractive, yet a lot easier to use as well.
Adwords Time Machine.
Now you keep track of others in your niche and monitor their Google
Adwords campaigns for the past 6 months. This allows you to copy their
landing pages and use ad copy that you know works on your own PPC
campaigns.
Adwords Site Targeter. This new
feature allows you to find other sites in your niche which run Google
Adsense. With this info, you can target your own ad placements in
Google Adwords, or setup a media buy with the site owner. These
targeted placements should lead to higher conversions.
JV Diamond Miner.
This feature enables you to uncover sites related to yours that have
their own opt-in mailing lists. By emailing these site owners, you may
be able to partner up with them and advertise your own product on
potentially lucrative areas of their site. This is one method that not
many affiliate marketers use, but can work very well.
Significant Speed Improvements.
The new Keyword Elite 2 is ten times as fast as the old version. Now
you get your results in seconds instead of minutes. Existing Keyword
Elite users will be blown away at the difference in speed between the
two.
These are just a few of the new features that will be
available when Brad Callen releases Keyword Elite 2.0. This doesn't
include the enhancements that I didn't get a chance to talk about so
look for them as well. Brad Callen is known for releasing great
software for affiliate marketers, and I am positive that we will not be
disappointed with Keyword Elite 2. Make sure to pick up your copy of
this ultimate keyword research tool when it is released.

Using The Keyword Surge Project
Keyword Elite 2.0 has now been out for a few months now, so I wanted to share how I am currently using the software. The main module I use the most is the Keyword Surge project which I find very helpful for use in my PPC campaigns. The reason for this is that I can use it to build up huge keyword lists very quickly, which makes it ideal for Google content network campaigns. If you are a PPC Coach member like myself, you will be able to take advantage of this tool in several of the techniques on the site.
One of my most profitable methods is to create CPA polls. I usually pick a hot news story for my poll campaign, so I start up the Keyword surge module input in my main keyword(s) for the poll. After the results are returned, I then look for more permutations of my keywords which is where Keyword Elite really shines. First, I use it to add additional words to the beginning and end of my keyword lists. These are related words that I will pick from related news articles that I'm reading. I'll also append news sources as keywords as well, like CNN, NYTimes, Washington Post, etc. Other tools can do this too, but with Keyword Elite, I can add each of these new permutations into separate groups as I go. This will translate into the adgroups I create in Adwords (or Yahoo/MSN).
The other way to find additional keywords is to use the mix-up words function which will return every permutation for each keyword in my list. So the keyword "stop dogs barking" would result in the additional keywords "stop barking dogs", "dogs stop barking", "barking stop dogs", and "barking dogs stop". While not all the resulting keywords make sense, I can always remove the non-performing keywords later. The key here is to get as many keywords as possible.
With these two simple functions, I can expand my initial keyword list by 10 or 20 times. Then with Keyword Elite, I can export my list to a free pay per click tool for uploading my PPC Campaign. This is just one use of Keyword Elite 2.0's new Keyword Surge project, but hopefully you can see how powerful it is. If you have a chance to pick up the software, I would recommend that you do so.
