Attention coffee drinkers. Are you searching for the best cup of coffee? Are you done paying Starbucks and other coffee shops your hard earned money for coffee that tastes burnt or watered down.
Your best cup of coffee can be found right in your own house and you will have a fun time making it. The following items are a must in brewing the ultimate coffee.
- Coffee Press.
- Coffee Grinder.
- Coffee Beans.
- Filtered Water
Coffee Press- The first step in brewing the best coffee of your life is to buy a Coffee Press (aka -French Press). While doing a search of the Internet you will discover that a Coffee Press is much less inexpensive compared to other coffee brewing machines. A Coffee Press can be purchased for as little as $10.00 or as much as $200.00.
Coffee Grinder- There are many different types of Grinders on the market today. The best one to purchase is a Burr Grinder. This will provide the most consistent grind.
Coffee Beans- When buying coffee always buy coffee beans. Never have them ground for you. Always grind coffee just before brewing.
Filtered Water- Coffee is mostly water. It is very important to use fresh filtered or spring water.
HOW TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER
- Boil the filtered or spring water.
- Grind coffee beans. Start with the grind setting at the largest setting. This will almost guarantee that the coffee will not taste bitter. If you want a more bitter taste experiment and go with a smaller grind.
- Warm up the coffee press.
- Put the ground coffee in to the coffee press. Use 1 Tabelspoon for 3 ounces of water. If you feel that your coffee will be to strong still brew with this ratio, you can add water after the brewing is complete.
- The total brewing time should be 4 min. After 1 min. stir the coffee in the coffee press.
- When the 4 min. are up press the coffee press top down thru the brewing coffee. This is the final step. Pour and Drink.
