Lingoes- Easily Understand and Translate Foreign Languages with this Simple Tool

I was surprised to find out that this free language translation tool has been kept secret for so long. It’s called Lingoes, and I think it’s hands down the best free language translating tool available out there. It should become an application on every student’s computer, as well as anyone who often encounters foreign text.

How it Works

First of all, this isn’t like most translators, where you have to enter text in a box, select the language you want to translate and then click submit. Lingoes make everything simpler for people who study foreign languages, or just often browse websites in foreign languages.

The best thing about Lingoes is that it’s free, and it offers translation to over 80 different languages into English. All you have to do is highlight the foreign text with your mouse/cursor, and it shows up right on the screen with pronunciation, definition, and examples. Lingoes also works with ANY application. This saves you the hassle of constantly copying and pasting into automatic translators like Google.

As a student who studies Japanese and Chinese, this is a must have. While I write essays in Word, I can highlight my sentences and words to make sure it’s accurate and correct. While I’m reading web content in different languages, I can also highlight individual words and sentences to quickly make sense of things I don’t understand. Make life easier on yourself, and download Lingoes….you will be thankful at how simple translating and understanding a foreign language has become.
