lay off the CEO
57Layoff's the corporate tool
For better or worse
The other day when I woke up, I had to laugh, you see with all the technology and with all the money in this country we can't figure a way out of an oil crisis. But what gets me most is corporate America has latch on to a new opportunity to dump it's employee's. You see they will do anything to make that bottom line look good, so they made the decision to get rid of your job.
It is sort of like trimming off the fat, so don't be surprise when you get downsize, laid off, or reorganized, all are just a nice way of saying your fired.
If the economy is messed up maybe you should put the blame where it should lay. You see for so many years corporate America has had a free ride, and instead of getting innovative and creative, they got greedy and lazy, sort of like stuck in a profit rut. Now there is nothing wrong with making a profit, but to be short sighted and greedy well that's just not acceptable. Now don't get me wrong I feel for all the people who have lost their job, I even feel that if the truth be told , maybe the wrong people have lost their jobs.
It makes no since that a CEO can sink a company, fire everybody and still get paid millions. Well that is what is happening, sure the oil is a problem, but it's a problem for every one we deal with it, they must too, so when I see car companies, the finance companies, the airlines and the banks etc go down like a sinking ship it make me wonder what kind of management was at the helm. When I see a company lay off thousands of workers, it make me wonder is there any accountability. You see I believe that any CEO that is not creative enough to save the ship and the people, Maybe he should be the first to be laid off.
