The Hugely popular range of gothic horror figures in Mezco’s LIVING DEAD DOLLS collection has grown a dark new limb. The range is now complemented with officially licensed movie tie in dolls based on some of Horror’s most terrifying characters! Here we’ll take a look at the Living Dead Dolls movie tie in figures and will update it with new information and pictures as soon as they become available!

Three of these chilling collectible sets are available now, and a fourth is on the way in late 2008! Those first three were stylized Living Dead Dolls based on Jason Voorhees (from FRIDAY THE 13^TH), Leatherface (From THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) and a double pack of OTIS and BABY (from HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES). The latest addition to the range will be another character from House of 1,000 Corpses, namely the terrifying CAPTAIN SPAULDING!

These dolls have proven to be popular with fans of both the movies and Living Dead Dolls, giving the range a huge amount of crossover appeal that the regular line of dolls tends to miss out on. Lets take a look at each one…

Jason Voorhees is presented in a typically stylized Living Dead Doll version with his trademark Hockey mask, blood stained boiler suit and machete. The mask can be removed, revealing Jason’s hideously deformed face!

The Jason Voorhees Living Dead Doll comes packed in a Friday the 13^th themed window display box with a swing out front panel. This is the most popular of the movie tie-in dolls thus far produced.

The clown prince of murder and mayhem is to be presented in his trademark demented clown guise, as seen in the first movie. One of the few Living Dead Dolls to feature facial hair (and looking all the more surreal for it), this essential oddity will be released in October 2008.
