What is this LeapFrog Leapster 2?

The LeapFrop Leapster 2 is a great learning game system for kids aged four to ten years old. It's portable and sized right for a little on to carry. They even throw in a carrying case with extra room for a few game cartridges.

Designed for kids

It's easy to handle for even the littlest among us. It turns on by pushing the red button and if (this is the best) something else should capture juniors attention while playing, causing the game to be left with the power on, it turns off automaticly after being idle for some time. Not having to buy new batteries all the time is great. Batteries are not cheap even at best buy.

The stylus is connected to the game itself by a string, and will therefore follow the game, even if not put back into place after usage. Good thinking I say having lost more than one stylus myself. =)

The controls of the game are very easy for kids to get a hang of. My brother told me that my nephew had no frustration figuring these out for himself.

There are many different game cartridges available for the LeapFrog Leapster 2 featuring popular cartton characters. My nephews favourites are Spongebob Squarepants and Scooby Doo. The boxes containing the games describes the age and grade level very well, making it easy to choose.
