Learn Spanish Language Online in Two Weeks or Less

Step 1: Choose the Best Home Study Course for YOU
If you're really in a hurry to get up to speed on basic conversational Spanish, then not only do you not have time to experiment with everything out there but you're also going to have to spend some money on your own education here, there's just no way around this. Remember, most courses assume you have at least a month or two to work with them. I personally like Synergy Spanish (click here for their site) because it's specifically designed as a crash course for someone who only has a few days to maybe a couple weeks max to get basically proficient in Spanish, i.e. you can handle simple daily conversations and interactions (greetings, directions, buying things, ordering food, etc.), it's only $49, and it's almost entirely audio (68 audio lessons of 10 minutes each) which is precisely what you need since you're almost entirely focused on speaking/understanding Spanish as opposed to reading/writing it.Step 2: Practice With a Native SpeakerNothing will improve what little Spanish you do know better than this--as soon as you learn a little Spanish on your own from your home study course, immediately try to use it with a native speaker. If you don't have any friends that are native speakers then there's plenty of websites out there (I like Friends Abroad) where you can meet up with people from Latin America who want to practice their English and will be glad to help you with your Spanish in return.Step 3: Watch Spanish Children's CartoonsThey're specifically designed for an audience (in this case 3-5 year old Spanish speaking children) with very limited Spanish language abilities, which also happens to include an adult who's just beginning to learn Spanish, many of them are available with English subtitles, and they can easily be found for free online. Honestly, the best place to look is YouTube, and I'll get you started with a GREAT example right here: The Penguins (for more just go down the list on the right under 'Related Videos').Additional Resources:
