Learning to live ones life is never easy, but we can learn to live better and good things will come to us as we learn.
We all have bad habits and some bad habits become more than simply that. We all have at least one habit that rules our lives and creates a negative impact on us and reflects upon others around us.

We begin by feeling good about ourselves and letting others be who they are (good and bad). We need not concern ourselves with thoughts like she is so annoying, I wish he would move somewhere else. We accept ourselves as good people and allow others to be themselves. Our actions affect those around us. Instead of wishing someone else would change or simply fade away from our space, we change our inner selves first and most importantly.

I've never smiled at people in my some 40 years until now. I smile at people I like, I smile at people that annoy me, and I smile at children. A smile holds positive energy. It is a reminder to our inner soul that we are good and deserve to be successful. When we pass that energy along in a smile it makes for more positive energy.

Life begins to take on a whole new journey once we begin to heal our emotional self. Success starts in small explosions or even large explosions as we become one with the universe. We can not rely upon others to provide our own happiness in life. We must concentrate on our inner feelings and we must act as if we already have obtained our goals. We must learn to practice everyday as if we are always one step ahead of our desires.

I think of one way that I reassure myself of positive thinking. I'll give a great example of this. I think the more people hate on me that there must be something about me that makes others jealous or envious of me. That is not such a negative thing after all. I smile at the people that show me this envy because what I am really feeling inside is love for myself and I am saying silently to the other person that you really don't understand what it is about me that makes you envy me and it is a shame. I except your envy of me and take as a positive arrow shot in my direction. Thank you for acknowledging that I am someone to envy.

Learn to appreciate your surroundings. You must commit yourself to think positive thoughts whenever you start to lose confidence. Be thankful for at least one thing everyday. By practicing positive thinking one day at a time you become more confident in handling daily stress and make better decisions about your future. Your thoughts affect your being and your being affects your success.

In order to believe in ones self you must be willing to let go of your doubts every time you have a negative thought change that thought to positive. Say to yourself I will be successful or whatever the negative thought is at the time. Instead of saying I am not good, change that thought to I am good and I deserve to be successful. Keep practicing this and you will become more positive over time.

Try a new look by accessorizing your wardrobe. Buy a new shirt to wear with your favorite comfortable jeans or slacks. Try a different haircut. This could offer a new outlook and make you feel better about yourself. Changing your outward appearance helps improve your inner feelings and shows on the outside. Think of new steps you can take to improve your inner being.

Aromatherapy is an excellent compliment to practicing positive thinking. I like to soak in a hot tub of water mixed with fragrant aromatherapy salts. Aromatherapy is recognized by The National Cancer Institute.
