Iloilo City is a beautiful place located south of Philippines. It is 45 minutes away from Manila by plane and 18 hours away by sea. Iloilo City has a rich culture, being the queen city of the south in the previous years (now, Cebu is hailed as the queen city of the south).

Iloilo city is a second class city and lately, it has been published in yahoo business as one of the top 10 best outsourcing hotspots of the world. The BPO/KPO business in the city, provides more than 10,000 jobs for the Illonggos and the nearing provinces.

Many tourists visit Iloilo, especially during Dinagyang Celebration. It is equivalent to Ati-atihan of Aklan, Sinulog of Cebu, and Binirayan of Antique. But Dinagyang is not only the reason why toursts flock Iloilo.

The nearby towns also have diffrent festivities. Like the Tultugan festival of Maasin, the Pasungay and Motocross in Oton etc. The centuries old Miag-ao Catholic church is also a tourist destination. The old church was cited by UN as world heritage.
