Whatever happened to Lori Loughlin from Full House?

Lori Loughlin is best known for her role as Rebecca “Aunt Becky” Donaldson on the ABC family program Full House. She eventually married John Stamos’s character Jesse Katsopolis, becoming Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis. She joined the show in the second season and stayed on until the show’s cancellation in 1995.
This is part of my series of articles on what became of the cast of Full House. Please feel free to also check out my articles on Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Candace Cameron (DJ Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone).
Soon after Full House ended, she joined Who’s The Boss actor Tony Danza in the comedy Hudson Street, which unfortunately only ran for a single season.
That didn’t keep Loughlin down, however, as she starred in a total of five made-for-television movies in 1997. Those movies were In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory, Tell Me No Secrets, The Price of Heaven, Casper: A Spirited Beginning, and Medusa’s Child. 1997 was definitely a busy year for Loughlin, to say the least.
Also in 1997, she guest starred on the Brooke Shields-starring sitcom Suddenly Susan, as well as the insanely popular Seinfeld, in the episode The Serenity Now.
Over the next ten years, she did quite a few more television guest spots, on shows such as Cursed, Spin City, The Drew Carey Show, 1-800-Missing, Jake in Progress, and Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
In 2004, she co-created and starred in the WB drama series Summerland. She played Ava Gregory, an aunt raising three children after their parents die in a car accident. Sadly, the show was cancelled one year after it debuted.
As with many of her fellow Full House alumni, Loughlin did a voice in Bob Saget’s Farce of the Penguins.
In 2007, she starred in the ABC comedy series In Case of Emergency as Dr. Joanna Lupone. She starred alongside David Arquette, Jonathan Kennison, Greg Germann, and Kelly Hu. Despite being fairly well received, ABC announced on April 12, 2007, that they were pulling the show.
Here’s a TV Guide Broadband interview with Lori Loughlin in which she discusses In Case of Emergency. Note that this interview takes place before the show aired.
