If you thinking of going on one of those crash diets, where you severely restrict your food intake. Or you are obsessively counting your calories because you are afraid of gaining an extra pound. Or you are constantly looking at the mirror and thinking that you are fat, and you are considering skipping lunch or dinner or maybe even both. Be warned, you are in danger of anorexia nervosa.

Most of you should be familiar with those two words. But what is shocking is that many of the people who are suffering from eating disorders, refuse to admit or worse, don't even realise it. This is because for many of the anorexics, they feel that by restricting their diet, going on fasts and excessive exercising is actually healthy. Some may go to extreme by using laxatives and diuretics or in the most extreme cases, vomiting.

Now, in your quest to lose weight fast, would you want to feel hungry all the time; having to taste the bitter, sour bile in your vomit; having hair that becomes thin and brittle; suffering from heart, kidney, muscles and blood problems; having ugly dry skin; and looking like a bag of bones and eventually die? These are the consequences of anorexia nervosa. Of course not, enjoying our food and feeling great about our healthy bodies is what we want to achieve. So why not do it the healthy, safe, effective way. And these ways are very often much easier and faster than you think.

One important fact you need to know about fast effective weight loss is that your body burn fat fastest when you are active and healthy. Meaning you need to eat and exercise. Exercise to increase our metabolic rate, improve the various functions of your body. Eat to provide the necessary vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats etc to your body. Giving it energy and vitality to carry out your daily tasks.

So, take charge of your life and your health and follow the simple fast weight loss tips below:

1. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, avoid oily food and sweet drinks.

2. Exercise regularly, like walking, cycling and bowling etc, for about 30 minutes everyday or on alternate days (but please make sure you are in the right conditions to do it, consult your doctor if you have to).

3. Find a partner or two and choose an exercise that is fun and enjoyable for you.

4. Take healthy snacks like almond nuts or again fruits, whenever you feel hungry.

5. Give yourself an occasion treat of your favourite fast food if you need to. Make it once a week, or better yet, once or twice a month.

And if you can do all these, you will be on your way to achieving the goal you desire.
