Love is Beautiful and Life God's Gift

Love is beautiful and life God's gift,

As intertwined as lovers' embrace.

Deprived of love, life is cast adrift

Upon listless seas whose lonely face

Vacant stares, realizing silence

Where music should thrill the air. Never

Either shall love be in any sense

Without her dearest lover, ever.

Were it not for life, love could not be.

Blessed then is life, a place for love

To spring into being like a leaf

Bursting forth from every plain faced bud

In springtime. Life and love are sweetness

From God's hand to our being given

Freely without condition. We guess

Vainly at their worth. We are living

Our gifts with each passionate moment

On this lovely world, given precious

Few of them to live out God's intent

That we share these gifts with all of us.

I think this hub is the anti-anti-toxin to anxiety! Help, the verbosity of it is making me anxious!

Ah, well. It's easy to be a critic. A comment space is big enough to write five stanzas of four lines each, rhyme scheme A-B-A-B-C-D-C-D-E-F-E-F-G-H-G-H, each line with nine syllables, on this subject.

Please. Have a go. Show me how it's done. ;)

I had approved that guy before, but then he disappeared in a HubMagic kinda way. But he's back now. Maybe he'll come back and out-write me!

Will do, Nazishnasim.

Ya, Randy, all I did was answer this request written in Engrish and look what I get! Cute little booger should show up and write a poem right now!

i liked this ....... if only i had the time, and i will one day.... to take each line and slowly inwardly digest, as i feel with this poem, that each line is loaded and each line culd be a poem in itself....... very well done i likes it x

I haven't read this in a long time. This is an example of me writing a poem at someone else's request, so I had to work at it. But I like that kind of challenge. I'm glad you like my poem, Brenda!

guess what, i came back to this, just saw it at the side you know advertised, when i was reading another poem..... I could not remember reading it although look it was only 5 weeks ago when i did...

I was interested to see my comments after, as i had time today, i read it slowly, then again then again..... and still have not done it justice. The film much ado about nothing came to mind, and i could hear one of the actresses in that actually reading it, it was sooooo beautiful. Thank you for your hard work, i am writing every day, and learning from other poets on here, and really enjoying my journey..... hopefully one day i may be able to write something of this kind of standard. Thanks again.
